Yeah you're right.
Hmmmmm I'm really not sure what else I could do to change the collision layers of the balls more reliably. I'm sure it's something really simple though. Or maybe I've just reached the the limit of how fast this thing can go in this frequency
So I ditched the lasers and went with normal ball collision and I made an entirely new engine from scratch. its running at a perfectly stable 60 rads with no brakes or anything.
It's so smooth that I thought the engine was glues to the background, but it was actually just resting on the ground
I'll upload it in a vehicle this time rather than just the engine by itself on on my little test platform lol
Awesome! I always wondered how to make it so the balls spawn behind something. Now I know!
I was initially going to make staggered timing, but I kinda lazed out
No need to shut up. Discussions are my favorite part as well. it's what keeps me uploading scene to be honest. I love learning new things from reading comments. like bend for example. I had no idea about that until now.
by the way, random comment but you should fit the whole engine in the thumbnail image
@MrGlinzz. the fingers are in the right place, I just think the fingers are the wrong color making them look wrong. or maybe I just suck at making hands.

something really needs to be done about people uploading these kinds of scenes. I'm not trying to be a jerk here, this is literally just 2 circles slapped on a badly drawn polygon. There is no need for this to be uploaded to algodoo.
