not bad, but dont have the breaks toggle, cuz when the brakes are on, you cant move the car. add description in the scene next time, and perhaps make an obstacle course or something else next time.
5/10
needs some bug fixes to me.
the harvester killed everything in its path, so i had to destroy it in the end, so i could survive.
the closet didnt kill the fire.
and pushing that button didnt do much but to destroy some things it touched
mounted it on an ugly truck worked good to
anyways, anyone else had a problem with the gun spinning around?
removed the hinge with that problem and the gun worked fine after that to
wow, very nice! good gun with unlimited ammo, the car ran very good, you might want to make it possible to drive while shooting, and i think the gun moved to fast, but anyways, very good
8/10
wow mate, i've never seen such a catapult. it may not be very strong(tough stronger that i tought it would be), but what counts is that you thinked outside of the crowd. you made something the way noone else has done it before, and thats the clue to beeing unique. its also a way to become better at phun, if you keep on doing things that have already been done by someone else, it all gets boring. keep thinking out of the crowd mate, and you might get good ofcourse it doesnt hurt looking at what other people have been doing.
for instance, my catapults frag-balls:
they consisted of two parts, the largest circle was coll-grp B and with several smaller circles inside, i made an extra ground which only coll-grp B would hit, and it was a killer, thereby making the balls explode when they contacted the ground. this way, you can make bombs or artillery shells
and just a tip on catapults or other ranged weapons, for maximum distance, the best angle to shoot at is 45 degrees, if you'd change the angle of the catapult, it might even go further than mine
good luck on phun mate, i can see you're making progress
hey phyton, i checked your power catapult, and i left a comment
anyways, i'm not sure if i'm going to use your catapult, but if i do, i might modify it, try to increase its distance
mate, this is some of those things we see from new guys at phunbox, the design was'nt very pretty and i doubt this is something NATO would use. but...
do not let that comment get you down, there are several ways to improve your design, if you learn scripting, you can make it have unlimited ammo, or if you make it look more realistic, it would atleast look better.
next time, give us something different think out of the crowd
good luck on phun
sometimes i think Kilnich should know what its like to have kids. he should realise by now, that new guys here all have potential. i'm getting pretty damn tired of watching Kilnich say things like "do you think this is good?" or "was there a reason to post this?"
we've all been noobs at times, be it a game or a partners family traditions, there is nothing more we can do but to merely watch and learn.
when people post stuff like this, it is a break from the mechanisms and dingledoppers that surround us in phun. if you've had a rough day at work, does it not cheer you up, watching a child smiling at you when you're sitting in the subway? i may agree that these cats may not have been the most useful thing here on phun, but as stated, they are a reminder of all the lovely things on this planet. really, everyone should be sick and tired of watching guns tanks everywhere, as all they may remind us of is the war that is going on out there.
what im saying is that phun is a free to use program, you should not be criticised for uploading your first gun, you should be adviced on how to further improve the gun. and "stupid" things like these cats are for some people, all they have.
hmm impressive i must say, like in your catapult, you came up with something new, and this is something else i've never seen in phun, a nutcracker
a nice design, and tbh, i never thinked about using mechanics like those you used for opening and closing the clamp.
very nice 8/10 for doing something different
to me, it was unreliable and usually stopped firing after two shots. you also seem to have missed out on what an AAgun is AA stands for Anti Air (alltough the german 88 AA gun was also in some cases used as a cannon instead of an AA)
you could have perhaps made some planes as targets to sort this out, instead of the two towers.
also, the turret was rather unneccesary, so a button to delete that would be good to.
otherwise, a good gun, liked the design, looked cool with shell-ejection. you just need to fix the fire-system as mentioned above. 6/10 from me
looked cool despite the fact that the weapons had no effect. nice suspension system for the wheels, and the car moved very well.
7/10 give me a working gun on it and i'lll raise the rating
aaahh copying my hook veichle are we
anyways, a nice simple track, the car looked stupid with the hook, but some nice obstacles there, i did have a problem on those blocks that were tied to the springs, as one of them had jumped out of the others, so i had to skip that step.
6/10 from me
in my opinion, this was not very good. why would you make the guy destroyable, and the gun was rather unreliable and not very powerfull. some instructions would be nice to have, and also the ability to aim the gun.
it was somewhat enreliable as the bullets sometimes jammed, and it was pretty hard to control it, and putting the cartidges in the chamber.
but a nice design to make up for that, and if it wasnt for all the jamming, it was a very good gun. 6/10 from me.
nah it does'nt look like a panzerfaust i think, this is what modern day rpgs look like pretty much.
anyways, nice design, a little bit unreliable as you said, also, would be nice to, instead of having it in a box, mount it on a soldier, and make it aimable without using the drag tool.
it was nice that it exploded on contact with the tower, but exploding on groundhit would be nice aswell. and the explosion was abit overdone i think.
indeed very good. somewhat laggy, but this is understandable, and could be fixed by removing the trees or other scenery.
nice details.
the ending was nice, but i feel it went kind of to fast.
and i'm just gonna guess you do basejumping yourself
i dont know why this has been rated so good, as it is unreliable. it had a good design, but very often, the buns would crash with the dogs, and i saw the machinery, sure it was a good concept for a machinery, but it wasnt very well done.
im sorry, but just to fix this ones ratings, i am rating you 1/10
not bad, i think it was somewhat realistic. i made a simple bomb and i exploded it on the top and bottom, and both gave somewhat realistic results. if you could perhaps make the tower more realistic, such as adding an elevator shaft, that would be nice (tough not required)
for now, 7/10
you do realise this is not a preset setting, and it has to be done manually yourself. go to options - rendering - hide fixjoints.
therefore, i am not to blame (you can also see from the image that i have already hidden them)
