awesome scene, and you English is perfect.
This is cool, but there are many many land vehicles faster than this. for example my 2nd scene I ever made back in 2009 went 500 m/s xD
this is a really cool mechanism but definitely not the best lol.
still a 10/10 for a cool engine!
Wow I am impressed! Very powerful engine and a really fun to play with truck!
10/10!
Wow I am currently working on something that's almost exactly the same! now everybody's gonna think I copied you xD
WOW! that parallax effect is freaking amazing! :o
This scene could change the way people make scenes in the future. only thing wrong that I can tell is the sun should stay in one position.
10/10 _o_
WOW!!! this is easily the best gun I have ever seen on algodoo! :o It's complex yet so reliable! I fired a full mag full auto without a hitch. I don't even care if this scene runs at 300, it's awesome!! _o_

I just can't get over the mechanism and how intricate, yet how reliable it is.
you clearly put a LOT of time into this thing.

awesome job

I'm adding this to my favorites for sure!
I think you need to change the thumbnail or something to make people want to download it more. this seems really under rated. Don't take this the wrong way, but the "skin" over the gun looks kind of simple compared to how complex the inner workings are, it's probably giving people the wrong impression.

I guess what I'm saying is yous should work on cosmetics a bit more :yum:
If you put a brake on the remove the motor on the hinges and put a brake at 0.5 Nm, this becomes much more staple and less twitchy
you should turn off gravity and turn air friction waaaaay down for a more realistic effect.
very very cool, but there should be support for people using laptops or tenkeyless keyboards.
I really love your gun scenes! _o_
I would love to!
I'm really sorry I forgot all about this. I've just been busy with work and such. Now that Ive got some free time I'll work on that skin!
You are the new gun master! sorry yarus12. xD

Sorry about never getting around to skinning that gun for you but it looks like you don't really need help with that anymore anyways ;)

Good work man keep it up!
Tach should be 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 X100 If you wanna do it the genuine VW way ;)

Really cool scene though

BTW. I drive a MK3 Golf gti VR6!

a few years ago I was a member on a site called geekhack that was basically all about mechanical keyboards. this was before anybody knew what mechanical keyboards were. there were only a few different ones available and you couldn't even buy them in US. So basically I decided to try and spread the word about mechanical keyboards because they are just so superior to a normal keyboard of course. I took apart a switch and did made that original animation that is all over google if you type "mechanical keyboard"

Geekhack basically pushed mechanical keyboards to the mainstream market and now they are readily available and everybody knows what they are for the most part.
Xray, I'm not quite sure what you mean. :bonk:
Ahhh okay yeah I see what you mean. and you're totally right. I have just never heard the word "hysteresis" before and wasn't quite sure what it meant.

But yeah you're totally right, however that is actually the main problem with blue and green switches because in games you have to bring the key all the way back up before you can make contact again, making it harder to press keys fast. With all the other types of switches, especially red and black, you can hover right above the actuation point and rapidly press the keys. And there really ins't any noticeable "noise" either. If there is it's very hard to notice.

By the way, not sure if you've ever looked into mechanical keyboards or own one but you totally should. They may be on the pricey side but they will change your life lol.
)|( fixed
Nice! Glad to know it works for other people
Thank you
How did you find the video?
haha Thanks ngphil! Means a lot coming from you

You're probably my favorite gun maker. It's your NG-SMG-4 that inspired me to make this _o_
To me it's still amazing. the level of complexity in the firing mechanism amazing. It made me want to make an open bolt gun but I don't think I could make it as complex and realistic as that. That's what I love about your guns.
They might not work all the time but when I want to show one of my friends or somebody how in depth algodoo can get I usually open up one of your gun scenes
What do you mean a sacrifice for speed and reliability? Turning up the frequency gives you BETTER speed and reliably, not worse. :s
My first scene ever uploaded was basically the same thing as this!

http://www.algodoo.com/algobox/details.php?id=30136

Is nostalgic indeed! I made that back in 2009
Oh I can crank it up to 1200 Hz with no speed decrease
And the higher I put the frequency up the faster engines run and the faster guns shoot.

And my favorite scene? I Think it's the Sig P226

I also really like the 1911A2 and Beretta 21A

Oh and the G18C. played with that thing for a while xD

Yeah for sure! so you just want me to make a shell of a gun basically? And you're gonna make it shoot?
I have a intel i7 3770k overlocked to 4.5Ghz
16GB of DDR3 RAM
and dual GTX 660ti Video cards :yum:

so yeah I guess I kinda do
Challenge accepted my friend.
