I believe the algorithm is causing the problem, as it shows the newest stuff, and most of that stuff is "low quality". I check popular section for the "good" scenes and it never fails me to give me something interesting!

Algodoo for me is currently on the latest edition, 2.1.0. It may have to do with your scene being very heavy on my computer.

In my experience, that's the most common script used when you want to make a rainbow marble. (Or anything rainbow that is) This should fall under "public domain", as this code idea is used so many times (I'd argue most code ideas on Algobox should be public domain since no one "really" owns it). Even if they took it from someone else, at least they are learning the basics of thyme. This is just my 2 cents.
