i like the ford mustang police cars that i see around where i live
(USA specifically North Carolina)

and i forgot about the one corvette that the local police got on a drug bust that they now use as a police car!

i hate it when i cant find out what language people commented in

i am glad to see the dimmension of the cars from the front is increasing!
i cant wait until somebody goes thru and puts engine and back seats and the back of the car and all the other details and makes a car that behaves like a real one rather than just shattering
i will worship this person if they ever do this

anyways this is good, better than many crash cars, but not the best
i say 8 just because it is not quite perfect as far as what breaks first, but it is still very good in comparison to many
yep this needs HELP

hmmm where to start:

first off you need to learn to add center hinge
simply go to geometric actions and move the circle to the front
then go to geometric actions "add center hinge"

The second thing that must be fixed is the suspension (yikes :x )
just get rid of the whole suspension set up you have
now you need to use an arm suspension (like i use for most of my cars)
look at my chevy, that should be easy to see
ok now that you have replicated the type of suspension i use you need to ajust the springs. in order to do this right you must change the dampening to about .7 and the strength to 1
(you only need 1 spring per arm)
if the spring needs to be stronger, increase the density of the susp. arm to about 6

i hope this helps
any questions just comment here and i will try to answer asap
Great tutorial for those that need it
it is informative for those people that need it

just add:
*suggestions on proper scaling, since it just said 'scale it' (such as use a tire and a circle and line them up)
*perhaps a little tilt on the susp. boxes to make it extra clear as to what connects where
* suggest that when picking a picture that one makes sure that it is actually side on rather than including ny amount of the roof showing (very common mistake among texture people as well)

Anyways, a great tutorial that will make algobox a bit easier to look at!
please make you scenes much smaller (scale it down so it can be seen at 1x zoom)
i am not going to download this
LOL
lol you didnt even pick one of my good scenes
lol
wait, did he crap that out or was it there?...

btw: you didnt even look at my best scenes. in fact you didnt even look at the final version of the gt car
ears arent big enough
lol
well that means that you just need to ajust some strenth levels for the springs and make the things the springs connect to more dense

you see, when you make the things smaller (but not too small) it makes physics behave correctly, while big things tend to float and not act correctly
nice!
i hate to sound like a downer here but it is very flawed

you set the density to 1490, it should be that if you weigh it it should be a total of 1490 kgs (as of now it weighs close to 3000 kgs)

and the other major flaw is the suspension. it is entirely too soft and it isnt damped enough. (sports cars have stiff suspension)

it is still nice though!
wow, you are now my mechanical idol
this is very cool
the only problem is that there is very little difference in gear ratios
and you really should use the type of gear without teeth
because it is not based only on one motor it fails after a while
crash car? more like disintigration car, it just breaks into little itty bits along the way

good job in the 3d
graphics are good
where are the rims? (looks like you anly read half of my tutorial LOL...)
the shadow should be much lighter i think

heheheh you must remember that if somebody has a favourite car dont make it destroyable, it makes them sad. lol

keep up the good work
LOVE IT!
just try not to use borders and shadings!

9/10 because of the borders
WOW, thanks for noting my rim tutorial

now that r8 is a quality crash car!
i wish all crash cars were that good quality
great job, very informative and helpful for those that like crash cars

keep up the great work! as always
i still like my local police's mustangs and the under cover corvette
sure i will do that!
i would love to help
what car might we do?
rims are my specialty...
i think i will post some detailed rims i just finished

i am sure you might have seen mine that runs on fuel
@ !SANTTU! --- in phun and algodoo anything that moves fast enough thru a low density thing it will just go thru it
my dad, during the time this was being filmed saw a truck load of kitt cars that had the nose bent upward because they had done the jump scenes
you created brakes...
hooray!
after a little bit of research i have found that there is some documentation of the frame of the mercedes sls on the AMG web site by way of a rollover picture. we may want to do the 'mercedes sls amg' as our colab. car. so it can have the frame and everything for realism

simply: we should do the Mercedes SLS AMG as our colaberation car
on the AMG website there is a picture that shows the frame
we could make it as realistic as possible by including the frame into the crash car
and make it so it is stiff and less easy to break
the flipping of the boxes with the closing lid in one step is pretty clever
although there is not really anything amazing in it.
over all pretty good consittering how short it is

take a look at one of my boredom scenes such as my "modern rock crawler"
dont pay attention to this guy ^^^ he downrated some of my scenes and stuff

anyway, nice self contained gun ammo, it is like a gun in itself kinda
yes, this is an origional idea as far as i know
it doesnt matter anyways. it is not like it comes with a physics test
if YOU use it the YOU fix the size
i dont need to change it unless it actually makes a difference and only i could change it. but you can change it so it makes no difference
it is cool but at the same time really odd because of the colors
the door opening is awesome!
lol when i saw the screenshot at first it looked like a deformed and crashed airplane...
anyways it is ok. for me the shot doesnt go out the end and the colors of the tracers could be better if they where not multi rainbow colors
looks good to me! but the problem with this is i can predict noob type entries that would have crazy motor strengths and weights of vehicles. what are you going to do about restrictions?
are the events going to be all in one track or in different ones?
what about using thyme?

i do like this challeng but as for this, it would require many detailed restictions
and to compete you should also include something that requires a light vehicle as well

there is a whole lot to consitter:P
have fun
OLD glitch that has been around forever
it is because you are so far away from the center
(the center being where physics are most correct and accurate)
