Well, take your torque in nm times your rpm and divide by 7124.
What i said earlier was wrong, it does 10000 nm at 45 rad/s. So 45 rad/s is 430 rpm, and if we do the following equation -
10000 (Torque) * 430 (rpm) / 7124 = 603 hp.
If you want to be even more precise then you could build all kinds of specialty equipment (like this) but this equation works nicely if you want to just get a quick idea for power
First of all, the dyno is not phunlet safe so you can't just make it a phunlet or copypaste it into another scene. So figure out what all the scene.my.variables your engine uses are and then save the entire engine as a phunlet. Then open the dyno, delete the engine I already have there and then declare all the vars your engine uses in the new scene, and put your engine in and connect it to the gray circle with the red hinge by an axle. Then adjust speed until you get the highest hp.
I'm using OSx but I do have a Windows computer also, although I don't use it very often because it's slow as hell. I never remember it giving direct solvers though.
I guess I could make a tutorial for that. But the thing is, piston engines will always work better in Algodoo because they don't use collisions to transfer power like Wankels do so they'll always be somewhat impractical, but still awesome nonetheless. If you're really good you can get them to work really well (like my 4 rotor) but piston engines are a better idea in most cases.
@Xray - Very good point. I said something a while ago about a second level of Algobox which only people that don't build marble races can post in, but the scenes they post can be downloaded by anyone. Or maybe, the marble racers will also be unable to download any quality scenes either and so will be encouraged to give up marble racing, so they can join. If any marble races are posted in the quality group, it will be deleted and the user will be kicked from the quality group.
I'm pretty sure argentinians don't like it when their guns break into a hundred pieces when they try to... shoot them normally. Oh well, it did that because it jammed and then I tried to fire it again, and it exploded
It only did it once on my comp and I put 3 or 4 clips through it.
