I did exactly what s_noonan did before I even read his comment. I have to agree it looks better like that and its less disorientating. It's still an amazing animation thoug. Nice job!
This is really cool! The track could use a bit of work. It's really loose and glitchy.

Other than that this is a pretty cool vehicle. Good work!
I love it!
I think this one is worthy of being added to my favorites!
Awesome work! I can't think of any ways to improve it.
10/10
Holy crap...

This is one of the best guns Ive ever seen. I dont even know what to say :o

Awesome! I was just trying to figure out how to make an animation for a radiator fan on an engine today.
本当に素晴らしい!
You are one of my favorite algodoo creators!
Thanks guys, but I will make it work, you'll see :yum:
I havnt optimized the thing at all basically. Just look at my rally car. it uses basically the same kind of engine with the same amount of cylinders and that thing is plenty strong.

Gent: I meant an engine that uses springs that change lenth/constant. or "variable spring engine" as I've heard them called. usually they just use a laser on the crank shaft.

The Linkage: I was actually going to do the fan belt thing
By the way, this engine is going to be for a very weak and slow vehicle anyways.
Thanks, but I wasnt the original creator. I think the first place I saw that type of anime was The Linkage's lawn mower.

Hahaha oops! :bonk: Good find. It's fixed.
The Linkage: I was actually thinking of changing the gear ratios. It would be as simple as typing in new radius values in the laser collide boxes.

I should be uploading it fairly soon.
There! Fixed it! Thanks for the advice, it works much better now. I even lowered the RPM of the engine for better stability.
The problem is its hard for a mechanism like that to spin fast in algodoo without the arms flying everywhere. You can sort of correct that problem with stronger springs, but then you have to make the arms heavier so they dont clip through each other but that just decreases the RPM before it engages. There's just no way to make one of these work at high RPM in algodoo. )|(
Hahah! Just a coincidence. You uploaded yours only a few hours before mine. There's no way I could have made this that fast. :P
Thank you vaidas369, but that was a while ago when I wasnt as skilled. I think I could do it now. I'm just lazy lol.

Edit:
come to think of it I could use help with making the gauges stay in one spot without force effecting them in any way. if its possible that is.

Double edit:
The back is higher than the front just to be funny :P

This is really cool! A lot more interesting than the typical algodoo marble scene.
click a hinge, open the script menu, and put 1 for hingeConstant.
Then make the hinge a break with infinite torque
You're English is perfect by the way.
Haha Awesome! Thanks for making this
There are steam engines that work like this.

Wow :o
This is pretty cool! nice job
This is unfortunately very unstable and glitchy because you're way too far from the center of the map. That's why everything is shaking and shifting around.:(
Pretty cool
