Maybe it's the version. not likely, but i'm in 2.0.2b15 and I've tested it a lot. The semi didn't fail . Did you raise frequency?
I'm working on the interruptor right now. Works for me but it sometimes jams into the bolt

thanks anyways!
doesn't really work
Erich's scene doesn't do anything besides making circles, Xray!
Thanks! I felt like this wasn't worth uploading yet. all the insides of the first version were too sloppy, so most of this is remade.
I think that improving a bad gun is harder than making it from zero. Most of the changes that I've made to the interruptor and trigger were just fine-tuning rather than making them all over again
I mean, this scene cuts the gear to make it circular, and makes those yelow circles that resemble to sparks, I guess. Erich's scene just made the sparks
If you want a faster fire rate, lower the gas piston's damping to 0.5 or so
10/10
That locking mechanism is not working well. Phil meant that the locking mechanism disables when the gas piston moves the bolt. I mean, the bullet pushes the bolt back, and you need something to stop it, but when the gas piston starts pushing it should disengage and let the empty shell eject
You should try to make an RPM limiter for the engine, so it doesn't get shot at 1000 RPM, and also try cutting the polygons of the track at some time to avoid those big rectangles. It won't give lag, believe me

The rod with the counterweight should turn all the way, shouldn't it?
Also the rope that connects the pump to the well arm should collide with it
now you should make it work!
Lucas, that ragdoll is very ugly. I wouldnt have claimed that it was mine xD
The engine is OK, but couldn't you just make the throttle control like in my concept scene? Care to throw a link to that one also?
Open Skype, vaidas! xD
You can disable the speed limit and make it go almost infinitely fast
Yeah, the first two rounds are stuck together. Great though
Three things why I shouldn't rate
1- it's not electric or has any engine that resembles electric
2- Not a car but a box with wheels
3- You should make a mechanism to change gears with keys instead of telling the user to untick collision layers!
And why is there a "tracking chip"? Does nothing besides looking lame
I don't care if it's at development or whatever, it FAILS
I'm asking you just a little of fine-tuning. The shell shouldn't move alone but by the gas piston only.
I'm not saying that the mechanism is useless, anything can work, but you need to tune it
Oh cm'on, i'm not in a bad mood. You're right that i'm mean in some points, but you're saying "electric" while is not. Also the tracking chip is useless, why don't you just make the camera follow the box. You don't see it
Sorry if I feel too proud of it, but I've built this on a pentium 4 at 10% sim time and just tested it in my new computer. It is fast for a gas operated gun indeed
You should try to run it at 100 or 200 Hz, because if you want to make a scene at 1200 Hz most people will have lag
But
you can make a magnet engine with attraction

I'm not bullying you also. you're taking constructive criticism badly.
VERY precise pump! If you make polygons that are slightly bigger than the valve heads and make them not collide with anything but watter, there are less spills. Try it.
It's the common pump design, but it demonstrates the effect perfectly. 10/10
After looking at your refrigerator? Yeah, mine also has a repeating cannon attached to it. )|(
10/10, I wonder how you did this thing
Oh, I get it. You have to push the rounds until they stagger. Good one
Can't you make it run at 200 or 300 Hz? It's OK as it is, because I realize that you need that frequency to have realistic shell ejection, but you should work with scripts or anything to make it work at lower frequencies (In my opinion. I never use more than 200 or 250 Hz). I'm saying this because i'm getting 70% sim time
But the ejection is awesome, it certainly has lots of power, and works just OK.
8/10 for the frequency thing, I bother a lot with that :D
P.S How do you get an empty mag off? The lock works, but the mag has some fricton
It still needs a lot of improvement. The balls pop out of the engine when you accelerate it, the wheels just brake completely and the engine is very unstable
Also it's spelt "karting"
They won't brake better, but you could put some kind of ABS there. And most people won't change density, they'll just run the scene. Here you can make a speed limit like if the crankshaft is going to 80 rad/s or less, make the balls' density 10, and if it's lower than 80, make them heavy again. I don't like spawn engines because of drag, balls popping and that I'm just too lazy to make them :x Anyways, rated 9
Se parece mas a una vane pump, pero bue, tiene el mismo concepto que un wankel.
Anda bien aunque solo para demostración, es lento y no tiene potencia ni torque.
Te doy un 9 igual
OK, thanks. You're not an algodoo noob. I already know that improving a gun is faster than making one from zero, but not really easier. Improving mechanisms that are already done is harder than making them for the first time, because you have to figure how the collision layers are used, how everything works, and such (Even if the gun you're improving was made by you).
About scripting, it's ok, you have to peek around on easy scripted scenes first and then you'll learn. I've been about 3 years here and scripting is an essential part of Algodoo, because you can make more things than only with mechanics.
You've been little time here, so don't worry
