when did this get 3 comments what-
-FireBrand Thanks! I'll try to fix that problem if I ever make another one.
-im557 how
-theorangedot I'm currently making a v2 of my most recent marble pack, so that's something to look forward to ig. Also, I would happily add Glitch into the pack, the problem is that I don't know how to make it.
Hi, creator of the OG here.
So I have detected a few flaws in the scene:
-The points that I guess were supposed to be showed on the rigth are not shown at all. This may be caused by something explained in the next point.
-When the scene is first loaded, 'scene.my._points' has not been declared (doesn't have a value), so the event will simply not work. I suggest to you to declare the variable and then save the scene so that the values get saved.
-Even if 'scene.my._points' was declared, the 'Multiplier' and the 'Max Score' features won't work since the values assigned are not numbers, but strings (text), which make them not work as intended (or not work at all). Luckily, this can be fixed. Just introduce the following lines in the grey boxes' scripts:
-Multiplier box: scene.my._Multiplier = math.toFloat(text)
-Max score box: scene.my._MaxPoints = math.toInt(text)
Hopefully you can find the time neccesary to correct these flaws.
Edit: I have sadly found even more flaws:
-A piece of the code on the teleporter that sends the marbles back to the arena (I think, I'm not 100% sure) makes the points recived (if they were declared) multplicate constantly and cause an integer overflow (bad stuff, basically speaking). There's a simple fix that makes this act as intended, but it makes so that the marbles can't go back to the arena. That part of the scene definetly needs heavy code rewrites
-The teleporter pad on the bowl's postStep script contains a typo that makes it so that scene.my._Rank doesn't reset, and in consequence, breaks everything.
In my opininon, this scene definetly needs to be remade. I think that the scripts in the scene were carelessly added to the scene without cheking them afterwards to see if they interfere with eachother too badly.
Please don't take what I just said as a personal attack, I'm just trying to help here.
Hopefully this can become a good remake (?) of my scene in the future.

So... this event was originally going to eliminate someone. However, I'll rather not have Black eliminated first again, so I'll give him a second chance.
However, the next event will feature a DOUBLE ELIMINATION to make up for this day.
Leaderboard:
1st: Orange (100)

Also, try to guess why does the marble that the contestants have to reach to have the number 1000.

The top 7 landed on the good bowl. The rest landed on the bad bowl. No one fell off the course (to be fair I made it pretty hard to do so, maybe too much).
And probably two of the most beloved colors are out. Thank god I'm not doing this algothon on YouTube.
Anyways, I have nothing to say about those two. Both of their memories literally look like this:
They did bad.
They did even worse than before.
They got out.
The end.
Also, don't worry, there IS a rejoin this season, there are enough contestants for that.
And the S1 MVP White gets out by a SINGLE point.
Considering how they got 2nd last season, this is pretty shocking news (although there were only 10 people back then).
And now we're left with newcomers Brown and Purple as spiritual succesors of White, as they sit rather comfortably in the top 2.
Results:
=1st: Black (0+7+8+9+8=32) (+313)
=1st: Orange (0+7+8+9+8=32) (+313)

11th: Magenta (0+0+0+9+8=17) (Did not win in Round 3)
12th: Red (7+0+0+9+0=16)
13th: Brown (0+7+8+0+0=15)
Ties were broken by how much time took the athlete to land on the correct side. If their point-gaining pattern is the same then we'll simply average out the gains of the two ranks.
And Red gets destroyed as they are eliminated with a 106-point margin. If missing out the finale by a huge margin wasn't enough...
Also I think I jinxed Brown by accident as they got last in this event.
Leaving the bad news aside, now Black is dominating the leaderboard after having a co-win with Orange, preventing the top 2 of Algodecathlon of being eliminated in the first 4 days of the competition!
COBENs:
Everyone: Immune
That's rigth! Day 5 will be the first non-elimination day of the season, as we'll be doing a team event! (an actual one, not the ones we had in Algodecathlon)

Since this event was a team event, there will be no elimination, so Grey will remain in the competition, although looking at the COBEN it's very likely that they get eliminated next event.
COBENs:
Top 2 (Black and Purple): Immune
Orange, Brown and Lavender: Negligible (below 1%)
Navy: 2.19%
Lime: 4.67%
Yellow: 5.39%
Pink: 6.32%
Magenta: 17.98%
Green: 30.25%
Grey: 32.63%
Alrigth, the tiebreakers have been resolved:
Purple won against Grey
Pink won against Black
Lime won, Lavender finished second, Brown came third and Magenta got last
1st: Orange (39/64)
2nd: Navy (38/64)
3rd: Purple (33/64)
4th: Grey (33/64)
5th: Pink (32/64)
6th: Black (32/64)
7th: Green (31/64)
8th: Lime (30/64)
9th: Lavender (30/64)
10th: Brown (30/64)
11th: Magenta (30/64)
12th: Yellow (23/64)
And newbie Magenta gets the boot, being the lowest ranked newbie at the moment, which is kinda sad since they got 2nd/16 in Event 1 and 3rd in Event 3. In fact, Magenta is the first contestant eliminated that earned any medals. Their team getting last in Event 5 and Green and Grey doing decent enough to survive was the last nail in the coffin for Magenta.
No elimination today, so Grey will remain in the competition, although looking at the COBEN it's very likely that they get eliminated next event.
Déjà vu moment.
Out of curiosity, I calculated what Grey's COBEN would have looked like if we didn't have this event. It turns out that if we skipped this event, Grey would have had a COBEN above 40%.

And Grey avoids elimination and gets Pink out instead. Their only highligth is their bronze medal on Day 2. The rest of their performances are just painfully average.
COBENs:
Top 3 (Black, Lavender and Navy): Immune
Purple: 2.32%
Green: 2.80%
Brown: 20.24%
Orange: 20.28%
Yellow: 20.72%
Grey: 33.63%
Results:
1st: Green
2nd: Lavender
3rd: Yellow
4th: Orange
5th: Black
6th: Purple
7th: Brown
8th: Grey
9th: Navy
The funny thing about Navy getting last today is that Grey was stuck behind the checkpoint for most of the event yet he still beated Navy, who actually passed the checkpoint way earlier.
And Grey ran out of luck and finally gets eliminated. I can't really highligth anything about them, he never placed on the top 3 of any event. He was as mediocre as you can imagine.
Oh, you wanted Grey to win the whole thing? Well, fear not, because next day we will have our first and ONLY rejoin!
Quick FAQ about this:
Q: How many people will rejoin?
A: Two.
Q: Will someone be eliminated next day?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I vote for my favourite color to rejoin?
A: No, mainly because the amout of eliminated contestants is pretty small.
COBENs:
Top 3 (Lavender, Green and Black): Immune
Yellow: 7.19%
Navy: 12.03%
Orange: 16.10%
Purple: 20.41%
Brown: 44.28%
And Brown because of their very bad performance. They got two silver medals on a row on days 2 and 3, a gold medal on day 4 and then nothing else, with them almost getting a bronze medal on day 7. Early game was definetly their golden age, dominating the leaderboard to the point I was comfortable with calling them White's succesor. Sadly Brown couldn't recover from their last two horrid performances. White rejoins with the average amount of points of every contestant in the game AFTER the elimination (excluding Brown).
Cyan rejoins with 85% of White's score. (I have no idea why there's a formating error)
COBENs:
Top 3 (Black, Green and Lavender): Immune (yeah pretty obvious considering they were the top 3 and they all got top 3 performances)
White: Negligible (below 1%)
Navy: 4.04%
Cyan: 14.48%
Purple: 20.81%
Orange: 27.50%
Yellow: 32.83%
