Nice, you've discovered this too, i made my own one, but its not that reliable.
Except the way mine works is a bit different, i used the solar prominance simulator sun attractor and it cause a warp to happen propelling it at amazing speeds.

I dont have algodoo, so the time slow down didnt work, but anyways, the bat somehow shot the ball back into the cannon.

Eventually, it will form into a volotile sphere, if you didnt use scripting,

Finally, someone who can make coasters with realistic coaster physics, others put motors on the roller coaster cars, they dont work that way though.
