This is how I was going to make my springs but there were too many objects. still cool though. would work well with more simple scenes with less moving parts and stuff.

I feel kind of same way as The Linkage and pnvv. I've been here for 7 years and I only have 7 pages of scenes. Yet a lot of "marble racers" that have only been on the site for a year or less have dozens of pages of "race results" and stuff like that.
I find it very discouraging that so many great scenes get pushed to the side by marble races and race results.
I know that some of the marble race scenes actually take quite a time to make,
but uploading scenes that simply show the results of races needs to stop!
It would be like if somebody like me or pnvv uploaded the same car over and over with just different colored wheels.
I'm not accusing you of doing that or anything. In fact your scenes look like you actually put some time into them. making your own characters and stuff. It's just that people are getting tired of marble race scenes in general.

This is the same thing that happens to any small community that becomes large and popular. Even YouTube had a relatively small community back when it started. Once it started becoming bigger and more popular, people wouldn't get as many views and would get buried in the massive amount of videos being uploaded everyday.
It's the same situation here.
There will always be people interested in your content though. and people that will stick around no matter what. Like myself. (even though Ive been on a 6 month hiatus)
You just have to make stuff that people want to see (not that you don't)
build it and they will come.
But really the most important thing is to make things on Algodoo because you enjoy it. And just think of Algobox as a bonus.
I actually accidently made it at 800hz. I was messing around before I started to actually built the rifle and forgot to set it back to a more reasonable frequency. By the time I noticed it was too late and I had built 3/4 of the gun.
As far as the extraction, it works fine for me. as you can see in the video.
Thanks, Linkage.
I'm actually pretty happy with the rate of fire.
I actually slowed it down a bit by making the cartridges weaker.
it was having feeding issues at high speed. But it's pretty fast as is for algodoo I feel.
The spring target for what? the bullet spring? turning it up to anything over 100 makes the gun explode, so I don't know what you're talking about with turning it up to 1000.
Xray- I put an arrow on the flywheel indicating you should spin it.
and also I made it so the engine was spinning a little bit when the scene starts to kind of hint at the user "spin me"
But you're right, I should add a note.
That's for the feedback, Linkage.
I think hand starting it adds to the authenticity of the engine and makes it a little more fun and interesting.
As for the fuel tank thing, I think that happened when I was adjusting the position with the arrow keys and it cut off the fix point. will be fixed soon.
Also I wanna point out that the reason I turned the gravity off is because it was making the governor really unstable.
Also the reason the engine is fixed the background is because for some reason every time I tried to unfix it, the flywheel and everything would fix in place and I couldn't get it freed up without loosening everything and it was just a big pain in the ass.
Rather than turning the sim frequency up so high, try increasing the density of all your parts. the higher the density the stronger everything becomes and you dont need your scene running at 2400hz to be stable.
I know you're trying to go for a realistic weight, but that just simply isn't possible with algodoo guns that actually function. There has to be compromise. Take a look at one of my guns and look at the density of the parts. you'll notice the density is very high. Same goes for any of the big gun makers on algodoo. like Meerkoos, ngphil and The Linkage
you're on the right track though.
Keep at it.
