plz rate??? :P :yum: :P :yum:
This is awesome! been wanting to see somebody make an old school semi auto pistol.
It could definitely use some refining for sure.
I think you'd have better luck if you make the gun huge, like 30 meters long and boost the gravity up to about 100 to compensate.
Meerkoos first started doing that and now mostly everyone copies that idea.
My guns got drastically better once I did it. Starting with my Walther PPK.
But anyways, cool gun. 10/10
Everything has to have a very high density as well.
Just look at Meerkoos' guns and look at the density of the parts and what friction and restitution he uses. everything is extremely heavy. It really helps make the guns stable. You just have to make the springs extremely strong to compensate.
Cool stuff. I think I was the first person to create the scripted spring engine but Im not sure.

Thank's, Meerkoos. I'm going to refine it a bit more and use it in my next gun.
Thanks linkage. I actually already solved the problem. I have a pistol coming soon that's gonna use these cartridges. you'll see what I did soon:)
Oh wow, I feel stupid now. It was so long ago I didn't even remember. :bonk:
I think I did it right.

Thanks.
But I think that is incorrect. Since hit and miss engines don't really get that hot I don't think there is any way for the fuel to ignite from pressure alone.
And most hit and hiss engines Ive seen have spark plugs and an ignition system.
I agree. I've seen videos of people holding a torch to kerosene/jet fuel and diesel and nothing happens.
of course!
Better than I was expecting. I'm impressed with the precision
Beautiful!
I did the same "huge piston" thing on my hit and miss engine also. Just looks cooler. :P
Really cool. I like
Nice and smooth. very impressive.
I'm happy to see you're still active.
Yeah same here man. I'll probably be uploading something soon though.
Hmmm this reminds me of something but I can't quite think of what :P
Jokes aside, very well done. better than mine for sure.
This is cool. Reminds me of something I would make:)
Good to see you're still uploading
I've been here all along, lurking through the Algobox ;)
Thanks guys.
I'll never truly leave Algodoo. Not until this website dies at least. And even then I'll keep using Algodoo itself forever. I think this is the start of a new wave for me. expect more to come ;)
Thanks guys!
s_noonan, honestly I thought the sharpening effect on the gears made a difference in the physical interaction between the teeth. I don't understand Algodoo on that deep of a level I guess.
I don't know what you mean by "squirl" translates to "tourbilloner"
The name I used for the watch is "Ecureuil Mortel"
which is French for "Lethal Squirrel"
If squirl translated to tourbilloner for you I think it's just some kind of crazy coincidence that I didn't realize

Oh I know, it's hilarious! I saw one at Best Buy. Logitech was using it in a demo comparing it to their switches. It's so funny to me considering I got the design wrong, and made it in algodoo without making the fix joints invisible.

Thanks much!
I actually used s_noonan's spur gear generator for the gears.
It took a lot of work to get the right ratios and sizes using his tool.

And yes, that scene was actually what inspired me to make this.
I wanted to see if I could make a mechanicall clock that ACTUALLY keeps time ;)
Best pump shotgun I think I've seen in Algodoo. Very well done
Well done! Glad you see you're still around, making new scenes!
Awesome gun! Best luger I've seen yet _o_
