Use the drag tool to slide the yellow block into the first black block. Use Google translator or similar to translate German to English. DrBalk most likely has to do an English to German translation for our scenes.

This dragster complies with all the rules in the "Rules are very strict:" section of the contest. If I have violated any of the rules, then let me know and I will try to fix it. I pretty sure this scene does not comply with Kilinich's intent.

Regarding statements made after the official rules. If they are not in the rules section, then I don't consider them rules, but let's look at them anyways.

Regarding "no propultion [sic]", Wikipedia defines "Ground propulsion is any mechanism for propelling solid bodies along the ground, usually for the purposes of transportation. The propulsion system often consists of a combination of an engine or motor, a gearbox and wheel and axles in standard applications."

So "no propulsion" means no movement and no "engine or motor, a gearbox and wheel and axles". This does not make sense.

Regarding "spawn engine with inside-spawn", that's what I made.

My experience with contests is that someone has some idea of what they expect the entries to look like and they write the rules around what they have in their head. Then if somebody meets all the rules, but it doesn't look like they expect, then they change the rules.

This scene is nowhere near the technical or artistic quality of Kilinich's or The Linkage's scene. It was done mainly for fun and to see how Kilinich would react. Kilinich's response of "Haha) sure it is!" to Xray's comment is the type of response I was looking for, and it is well appreciated. I thought by bragging how fast the dragster was, I could get another response, but I don't think he's falling for it.
Xray,

Thanks for your continued support. Your check is in the mail.
Worked perfect for me. Well done.
Did you make these by hand or was there some trick to making the clouds the same as the Algodoo clouds?
Awesome.
These clouds could be used in a prank scene where the clouds are annoying but unchecking clouds on the background widget does not get rid of them.
vaidas369,

Regarding "Sorry but rocket engines or simple jet's is not allowed.", I don't see the words "rocket" or "jet" anywhere in the rules. Please state the exact wording of any rule that I broke.
Looks like we have a wiener. Good work chemist. Your description is very detailed and accurate. Your check is in the mail (I got your address from the NSA).
Very impressive coding. Works flawlessly:tup:  .
Well done.
Nicely done.
Nicely done. I like how one pin moves the slider and also lifts the ball.
Good.
Increase the simulation frequency to 500 or 1000 Hz.
Max speed = 890 when simulation frequency = 1000.
Thanks for the honest feedback and rating, guys. Both of you have good suggestions, but I'm not sure at this point if I will do them.
9.8
Everyone can change anything.
Xray,

I tried for quite a while (longer than I would like to admit) to make a track. I couldn't make one that would operate smoothly and not cause too much lag. I'm pretty sure I won't be adding a track anytime soon.
Molto buona scena.
Good idea. Nicely done. Works well.
Excellent scene, functionally and aesthetically.
Thanks. It wasn't easy, but at least these tracks don't seem to cause any lag on my PC.
I know what's happening. I suspect you may also know.

Edit: Oops! I see Luka already figured this out.

Thanks guys.
b = math.atan2(scene.my.lampPos(1),scene.my.lampPos(0));
a = math.vec.len([scene.my.lampPos(0),scene.my.lampPos(1)]);
Yep. Works well. Too bad the
Code Tags
don't work in Algobox.
Sounds impressive. I haven't tried that yet, but I've seen a video with an excavator climbing into a rail car. I'm working on making the turret reversible. That might make it easier.
When code tags are used in the forum, you can copy and paste code with no problem. When code is added to the scene comments in Algobox, copy and pasting the code may or may not work (as you mentioned in your 2nd comment above).
