***WALL OF TEXT WARNING***

Kiddy I get your point. It is true that the marble racers have been put through a lot of crap by users who don't agree with what they keep doing. I mean, me, FRA32, INH, and a boatload of other users have posted protest scenes trying to get you guys to cut the crap and try something else. The thing is, we've just about been pushed to the ends of our ropes trying to get you rowdy kids to tone things down a little. I mean, many users have posted protest scenes and others have left outright. I mean, users like me, INH, Vaidas, FRA32 and a variety of others have left as we've all got a reason - You guys have irrevocably screwed Algobox. I think the scars of the age when there were marble racers running amok and dropping their worthless rubbish all over the new page is gonna live on for a while.

I mean, if we focus on right now you guys are flooding Algobox with your junk. This is resulting in a few negative consequences.

The good users have begun to depart and it doesn't look like it's gonna let up. You guys like their scenes right? I mean, the stuff we make, we put a lot of effort into it. Imagine if all the good users left, all that would go with it. Algobox is a marketplace to put all kinds of scenes. Now all the good scenes are getting buried under a flood of crap and no one gets to see them.

As the good users depart there are less people to appreciate the good scenes that still get posted. It becomes even less likely for scenes to get rated before they fall of "New". Too many times to count have I opened the popular page, and it's 95% marble races.

Lastly, with all the good users leaving, Algobox is gradually becoming dumber and less talented. The scenes are losing all there individuality. And I mean, when you kids get to be my age what the hell are you gonna do when you finally realize "Oh god, marble racing was hellishly silly and boring!" Well, guys, you're all screwed! You wasted all your time making dumb marble races and now that you've all lost interest in that, what are you gonna do now, just suddenly be Kilinich? Yeah, I think not. Some day, even the marble racers will leave, and algobox will be completely deserted. Woo, that sounds real fun.

And yet you support them? :grr: )|(

I think Xray is illuminati
Why is the carb going into the crankcase?
I forgot to rate  There we go.

Crashed after 400m )|(

Oh well, i'll try again soon. Good flight physics, Algodoo needs more airplanes. (and also those clouds are really goddamn distracting  )

How come whenever I play this scene I get this song stuck in my head?
3 hp:P
Spamming? But man, these are good scenes! :|
I've got a compass like this. I always thought they were weird, I guess not :|
Drunken algodoo fun
INH, but you has alt account :D

Busted!
But... there's no hoverboard and the car doesn't fly in the first one, and the clocktower doesn't get struck by lightning in the second one either! :x
I like this :D

Well then... let's review this the eanayayo way

Body - 9/10, it doesn't have any textures and it also isn't yours.

Suspension - 8/10, it's a little stiff and bouncy, but suitable for a sports car like this :D

Engine - 6/10, well, I have some mixed feelings here. it's a smooth engine, it has a very steady idle, and a good amount of inertia. I could do an engine brake :D But, it states in the description that the engine has 105 hp, whereas my testing found the engine only had 90-95hp :x If you wanna see, I have the data if you wanna see it :P Also, it generates a tilting force that rotates the car to the front when accelerating. Maybe you could counteract this with a light wheel spinning at ~10x engine speed? :s Also I like that it's possible to drive at 30% power, so you can drive sensibly and not in full Clarkson mode all day

Gearbox - 5/10, it slips a little and the ratios are a bit too long, along with the gaps between them being uneven. Also try and use A/Z for sequential gearbox, because it's easier to use :)

Clutch - 3/10, it's just a toggle, but even if I put the wheel friction at +inf and dropped the clutch in 4th gear at a standstill, the engine didn't die.

Dashboard - 7/10, I like the dials how they have that "sluggish" feel like old cars, but I actually found the RPM dial is inaccurate by about 100 rpm!

So, collective rating, 6.3/10 (but you get a 10 anyway, because this deserves to be popular :P )

And le performance -
0-100 km/h 9.6s
0-160 km/h 19.4s
180 km/h topspeed, but only limited by engine speed xD

"and the eventual collapse of the higgs feild resulting in the quantum entanglement of biff's testicles"

I literally LOL'd at that
I love these awesome games you always make but I always suck at them so I can never enjoy them fully )|(

My score was 126.09...
We need more people like this here :D _o_
You keep finding good uses for engines that I hated

how do you do this
Kilinich this car only has 55 hp, it can't do a wheelspin in real life either

I must have not changed the wheels to legacymode = 0

I wonder why my other karmann ghia (the crappy one from last year) has a high rating and this is only a 6?

I saw that. I might build it up just cause why not ;)

People keep commenting but no rates :(
sPetersen did the math, no dynoing is neccessary because it's not an "engine" so to speak:P
Because the Karmann Ghia was just basically a VW Beetle with different bodywork
Isn't this basically just an overcomplicated softwheel?
FYI, I was also not the poor, aloof soul who uprated this.
I might try mouse controls :D It would be nice because I could do away with 4 buttons :P
SpaceX much?
Eh, a better definition of this would be a U engine because its just two I6s joined together by a gear

Those are the derpiest valves i've ever seen  Make sure they only open and close once per revolution, and you have to use cams for that, not a crank xD

Argh these controls are extremely counter intuitive...
IRL the cam profiles are a little different, but, oh well, cam engines are hard to make work accurately in Algodoo anyway because of the screwy polygon collisions, so this works fine anyway.
