Recolor it, but this time make the whole thing (except the bullets) semitransparent so we can see the inner workings in action.
Or you could color each set of parts according to function.
The only water that can be used in the scene is that 2 meter square. You can make pumps and stuff but no spawning or adding of extra water (that means your car needs a holding tank of some sort) The water tank doesnt have to be a square, but it must be equal volume (that 2x2 square covers 4 square meters. Liquify anything of any shape that has that same area and it can be used)
You can make it as simple as this: Water pours out of the tank onto a gear attached to the wheel, which makes the wheel spin. But of course you wont get any credit because I said it as an example. You could also use the water like a soda rocket and spray it out of the back of the car (which of course it not very efficient but I just tested that and it does put out a tiny little amount of power, but not enough)
I would use this in a sorting machine. If you were to glue this to a hopper full of objects, the vibrating action would sort the objects in the hopper by density (providng that they all are the same size.
It is actually driven by the pressure caused by the gear pump. With infinite torque this gear pump puts out a large pressure and therefore the water exerts a large force when it is allowed to expand. That is why the pump RPM is so low. High RPM would make it a centrifugal pump, which is not intended.
It said pumps can push outwards... which is the whole point. They use the INERTIA of the water to power the car. Really the water alone does not produce thrust (like with just the spring pump inside the tank)
Lol how is it cheating. The standard for all walker legs is infinite friction and zero restitution. The problem is the stability of the walker on soft surfaces.
Each marble just controls where the arm/lifter thing is. The actual actions for lifting and dropping are timed in between movements, not part of the ball sequence. Any other puzzles you can make this for?
Use the arrows to control the timing. I am not sure which one of the arrows advances or retards the timing, but the hinge connecting the crankshaft to the spawner lever thing rotates to change the timing of the spawner
