I got through in about 18 minutes. Not to mention by the time I finished the roof was gone and most of the rear end was strewn out evenly along the entire course
SPH is basically water settings. Such as sph.viscostity and density. Apparently, I messed with them and it killed The Linkage's algodoo, and now he hates me. Go figure
And no, I didn't change it yet. Which is weird, because it still won't work on my computer. I'm probably just gonna build a new engine...
In order to have hinges stretch like that you need to use hingeConstant, make it really low (like 1e-36) for driveshafts, but I put it much higher for the centrifugal clutch.
I love how some people say 10/10 but don't actually rate
But I am working on a car with a 600hp spawn v12 that I hope can get through this course in under 10 minutes. I will need an average speed of at least 93 mph, and with 600 hp and some scripted suspension I think that is perfectly doable
That 6motor still made over 400 hp, despite the fact that it used lasers for ignition, had no gun-tech and only 1 rotor . Those were the days my engines were awesome looks-wise, but absolute shit in evry other respect . I sucked at pistons back then so I was constantly trying to find ways to generate power w/o using them.
I'm gonna make my own version of this ans upload it, if that's ok with you!
@Linkage - Well, it has good power indeed, even for a 4 stroke which has half as many power strokes per revolution as a normal 2 stroke. Considering that IRL this thing only had 25hp, it does pretty well. I could have forced more power out of the engine but this is an old tractor so out would have just made the performance unrealistic
And I would love to see that spring engine. I want to see how you managed to get 4 stroke motion out of a spring engine
@vaidas - Good idea! I'll add that, if I can figure out how....
I was working on an engine for that. I gave up with springs (was never very good at them ) and just used a spawn engine, but never got round to actually putting it in the car
