Suggestion: Give instructions so people know what to do! It took me a while to figure out I needed to press the Left and Right arrow keys to make the ball roll left and right. It's always a good idea to write some basic instructions either in the scene or in the scene description so that people will know right away how to control the objects in your scene. People appreciate that!
I subscribed to it. Therefore, I get notified when you or anyone else leaves a comment. If I no longer want to see these comments I simply unsubscribe. Then I will no longer get notified when a comment is left. YOU can do the same with yours or any other scene. Just click the subscribe button above the rating bar.
whatvaheck -- In case you don't know this, you can subscribe to your own scenes. Then when someone makes a comment you will get notified. Across the top of each page you will see the words "New messages". Click on that to go directly to the message! That way you won't need to randomly check each of your scenes to see if anyone left a comment! Cool, huh?
Oh, by the way, what I said above does not work with the Algodoo built-in browser. You need to use some other browser like Chrome or FireFox. The built-in browser is very limited.
@voidaxolotlquestions -- If a person has smoked cigarettes for many years, they paid a ton of money for all those packs of cigarettes. Then when your doctor tells you that you have cancer, the medical costs to try to save your life will be astronomical. All that is in addition to the grief and mental pain that your family and other loved ones will have to endure. No, lung cancer is far from free!
Could you please provide one or two examples of real-world applications (with links or photos of them)? I usually have a better chance of understanding a simulated mechanical device if I can relate it to something IRL. Thanks!
Oh, one more thing... You mentioned "registration". I hope you won't require people to enter personal information in order to register. All scenes uploaded to Algobox must be available to everyone without any special requirements such as registration. A "fake" registration would be acceptable that does not ask for or require personal information.
whatvaheck -- Read the scene description! I already explained all that about the previous scene title being inappropriate. Why did you feel you had to comment about it again?
Suggestion: Whenever you post a scene that requires a key to be pressed (or mouse button) you should write instructions either in the scene or in the scene description. No one can read your mind!
