First of all, let me clear up a couple of things that you obviously don't know about Algodoo and Algobox.

1. Algodoo is not a "game". It is a physics simulation app that runs on your device (either a computer, or iPad, or a few other devices that can run apps. A physics simulation app allows user (like you) to create their own games, or simulations (such as moving airplanes, boats, cars, machine guns, and just about any other thing that moves in the real world). When those simulations are finished, they can be uploaded to ALgobox.

2. Algobox is the name of this website that allows users to download other people's scenes, or you can upload your own scenes to share with others. So, Algobox is simply a website that allows users to share their creations. I (Xray) am the current Admin here on Algobox. I have been doing that job since about 2014. My job is to make sure that people play by the rules. I also occasionally help new users by answering their questions.

Okay, concerning your last question, I can only answer that by saying "It depends". For example if you want to use parts of someone else's scene who you know hasn't been here on Algobox for many years, then yes, it is usually Okay to copy their work. BUT if you do, try to change it enough (different color, size, or shape) so that it is not easily recognizable. If you do copy someone else's work and they complain about it (either to you in a comment, or if they Report you to me) then you will have to remove those items from your scene or maybe delete the entire scene.

If you know that the person currently uses Algobox and you would like to use their work, then ASK them in a comment if it's Okay. Many people don't mind as long as you give them credit in your scene description. For example if you want to use something that I made, simply ask me in the comments section of one of my scenes. Just say something like, "Hey X-ray, would it be Okay if I copy your machine gun to use in my scene? I will make sure to give you credit as the original author of the machine gun." If I say, Okay, go ahead and use it. Then great! But if I say, NO! Please don't use it! Then just forget about it and either copy someone else's machine gun or try to make your own. If you copy someone else's work without their permission and if they Report you, then you may possibly get banned from using Algobox for some period of time, or maybe forever if you happen to be a repeat offender.

Okay, that's all!

Nice job on the drone's attitude controls!

Suggestion: It would be even more awesome if you used an actual image of a drone instead of a black rectangle. There are zillions of drone images that you can get from a Google search and simply use the image as a texture image for the rectangular box. If you need help with that or have any questions, I'd be glad to help you.
Good!
whatvaheck -- I don't recall you asking me permission to copy and upload any of my scenes! The rule is if you want to use someone else's scene or parts of a scene, then ASK PERMISSION! Some people get very upset when others use their work without their permission.
It's not about giving credit! It's about asking permission. I even published a scene about this subject and I know that you've seen it because you left a comment.

Here is the scene: Giving Credit Skit

Anyhow, I would have given you permission to copy it and use it in your own scene if you asked, so no harm done. But please, in the future, ASK if Okay to use another person's work. It would save a lot of anger and frustration if people would make a habit of doing that.

Thanks!

I like the nyan cat. He/She is a real cutie, but there's no way that I would watch and listen to a nyan cat video on YouTube for TEN HOURS! :o
The same way you would subscribe to any other scene! Click the SUBSCRIBE link which is right above the rating bar.
First off, you need to specify the game RULES before you write even the first line of code! If you want your bot to play intelligently then you need to write code that handles the logic of playing and winning a standard Toc-Tac-To game. But if you want a simpler version of the game in order to make coding it much easier, then have the bot place a "O" in any vacant square, then wait until you (the player) selects an empty square. Continue that way until either the bot or you gets three O's or three X's in a row. Then "Game Over". If neither player can get three in a row, it ends in a tie game.

Here is the general process of coding a simple game:

1. Write down how the game is played (all the rules about how each player moves, how the game is won and lost, how points are scored (if applicable), and any other important condition that must be considered).

2. Write the code that handles all the logic in step 1.

3. Thoroughly test the game to make sure everything works as expected.

4. Correct any software bugs, then repeat step 3. If no bugs found, then go to step 5.

5. If possible, have other people play your game (That's called a Beta Test) and report any bugs or other issues that should be addressed.

6. Correct any reported software bugs.

7. Publish your awesome game!
Bro, are you serious? what is there to memorize? :o Just like your parents taught you (I hope)... Don't take anything from another person without asking permission. It's that simple!
 Happy Birthday Little!
I hope you do not use the Algodoo built-in browser because of its many limitations. Use any standard web browser such as FireFox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge, etc. You should see the word "Subscribe" or "Unsubscribe" above the rating bar. Click that word in order to subscribe or unsubscribe to that particular scene.

Thanks for your comment about my script. I appreciate it!

Concerning this website, I had nothing to do with how it was designed or coded. I am just a volunteer who has been the Admin (or Moderator) for Algobox since around 2014. The company "Algoryx" which is located in Sweden, owns the website and also owns the rights to Algodoo which is the app that runs on your device. Therefore, they have complete control over how Algodoo and Algobox were designed and coded. I happen to live in the U.S.A. I'm nearly 100% certain that the company would never create a product that discriminates against any of its millions of users around the globe because if ANY company were to create such a discriminatory product, I believe very few people would purchase it or use it (even if it were free like Algodoo is). I'm sure that you are experiencing some sort of malfunction which "appears" to discriminate against you. My first suggestion would be to download the latest version of Algodoo from the Algodoo website and see if the problem gets resolved. If it does not, then I would like to hand over this issue to a Customer Service engineer and let him work with you to fix it. He is very smart and he is a good communicator. If he cannot fix your problem then no one can!

By the way, I see that you have deleted all of your scenes on Algobox except for two of the latest ones. I hope that you will reconsider about permanently leaving Algobox, especially if it gets proven to you that Algodoo and Algobox are not discriminating against you! We want people to continue using this product, not running away from it!

Thanks again!

Xray
Okay, will do.

Wait.... I have one more important question for you: When you upload and download your scenes and comments, do you always use the Algodoo built-in browser, or do you use a standard Internet browser such as Firefox, Chrome, or Edge?

Nice work (as usual) on the scene!

I noticed one minor issue: The "Z" (fire) key requires two presses. One to squeeze the trigger, and then a separate press to release the trigger. Not sure if that's "normal" for this gun.
While using Firefox, make sure you are logged in to Algobox. You should see your username in the upper-right corner of this scene, and it should read "Logged in as whatvaheck". Then scroll down to the rating bar. Right above the rating bar you should see the word either "Subscribe" or "Unsubscribe".
OMG! Really?
ivanivanovicpupcin -- That is likely what's causing your troubles! I suggest DO NOT USE THE ALGODOO BROWSER for anything! I have disliked it from the first time I used it 13 years ago! If you stick to using Chrome or other regular browser for downloading and uploading scenes, your "problem" should go away (I hope!). Just make sure to log-in to your account (you can do that while browsing any Algobox page. The log-in status shows in the upper-right corner of every Algobox page).
WasherFan5727 -- I'm glad that you found the scene you were looking for!
It's your scene! You can do whatever you want it to do. I simply make suggestions to people whenever I see something that doesn't seem correct to me.

FYI, I own a real life military style 1911 pistol that has a grip safety. There aren't too many pistols that have a grip safety, but your gun in this scene works a little differently than the 1911. That's the thing about that gun I don't quite understand how it affects the recoil. :s

@Little -- Suggestion: When either player wins, I noticed that the entire board lights up green with every square displaying the winner's O or X. When that happens, it happens so fast that the player may not know what the three winning squares were. My suggestion is, when a winner is declared, display only the winning three squares with the winner's O or X in them, rather than lighting up the entire board with O or X.

Excellent job overall! _o_
Donald's dementia continues to spiral out of control.
Did you mean "catastrophic"?
Awesome!
ivanivanovicpupcin -- Okay, I'll contact my guy at Algoryx to see if he can figure out what's going on with your issue. It's obviously beyond anything that I can help you with. Sorry.
It has an error with its winner logic. Here's why:

For the purpose of this explanation, let's label the squares 1 through 9 beginning with the upper left square as 1.

X(me) 7
O (AI) 1
X 3
O 5
X 9
O 8
X 6 ; I should have won with this move (X in 3,6, and 9) but the AI continued to play by placing an O in 2 declaring it the winner! CHEATER! LOL!

Oh, one other issue: After playing a game I noticed that my toolbar at the bottom of the screen changed! The Grid on-off button got removed and it was replaced by the Knife tool. It happens every time I play this game and it stays like that even when loading and playing other scenes. I was not able to find where in your code that happens, but I highly suggest that you find it and fix it because a scene should never be able to change the look or operation of Algodoo. Thanks!

Because I made it that way.
Okay, THANKS!
How did you upload THIS scene? :s

I see that you uploaded EIGHT scenes including this one, so I don't understand what your problem is!
