Okay, seriously... Two objects in Algodoo world cannot occupy the same space at the same time, exactly like in the real world. So, before the simulation runs, YOU placed a square in front of and slightly above a circle that has the same collision layers (A). When a user starts the simulation, the square falls directly in front of the circle causing the two objects to forcefully push a way from each other. That's all.

Answer: No
Learn about it like everyone else.... By making scenes and finding out what works and what doesn't work. You can also read some of the entries in the Algodoo FORUM. If you have an occasional question about something you are having trouble with, I would be glad to help you. Just keep in mind that I have a life away from Algodoo, so my time is very limited.
youyou222 -- I never communicate with Algodoo users via Email. I can send anyone a private message, but it's only one way. If someone wants to send me a message it can be done via comments, or if private or personal message they can do it via the Report links. Normally the report links are used to report another user for breaking Algodoo rules, but they can also be used for sending the Admin (me) a private message that you don't want anyone else to see. Just don't abuse it by sending me any silly or nonsense comments! That would only anger me.
You got this from a marble race by MisterSealFace. Because of the way it was scripted, the color change will work only once. But you can easily change that if you want it to work continuously no matter how many things are thrown at it. Here's how: In the onCollide script there are four lines of script. Delete three of them but leave the script: e.this.color = e.other.color After you make that change, save the edited scene on your device and then upload it to Algobox. Dat's All Folks!
Again, no instructions! I am familiar with electronic components, but I have no idea how this scene works or what to do with it. Is it a game? Is it a quiz?
Oh, Okay. That's a great idea but for the average Algodoo user who knows little to nothing about electronic circuits, how would they understand how to build circuits with it without instructions? Along with detailed instructions it would be a great idea to show one or two examples of completed working circuits so that people have something to sort of guide them. Maybe show them what is possible with this scene. I'm sure that people would enjoy building circuits with your scene if they at least had some basic foundation to go by.
These are just my suggestions. You, of course don't have to do those things if you don't want to for some reason.
Yes, I noticed the AI artifacts right away, especially that weird looking car that's supposed to be the man's left eye.
Not to discuss religion, but I wanted to point out that no one today knows what the biblical Jesus looked like 2000 years ago! Some artists have painted pictures of him with long, flowing blond hair but that cannot be true because of who he was. Fact: According to the bible he was a Jew. Nearly all Jews back then had short curly black hair, not blond. Fact: According to writings by the apostle Paul (1 Cor 11:14) he said: "Does not nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair it is a disgrace for him?". Paul would not have written that if Jesus had long hair! So, again, that guy could be anyone. He could even be that image that many people "believe" what Jesus looked like. I think the guy looks like a 1970's Rock star, or a person who people called a "Hippie" in those days.
Jopjop610 -- The scene was deleted because it was considered a personal message which is not allowed. You can still see it because it is your scene but no one else can.
Quote: "Some edible triangles (pizza slices) were harmed in the making of this scene"
Funny you should mention pizza while making a scene about triangles. I had a math teacher in high school who liked to use real world examples when explaining math equations and functions. He used Pizza slices to explain the "dot product" and how it can be used!
Absolutely! After high school I started thinking to myself, "Why would I ever need to calculate dot product or any of the other strange math calculations that I learned?" Well, it turned out that I actually DID need to know about dot product and some other vector calculations for a real world job that I had as an industrial controls engineer.
Now, with AI, you younger people have convenient tools that do all the thinking and calculating for you! Engineers today don't need to learn ANYTHING! (just kidding of course!).
Be careful you don't set the speed too high because if the scene goes too fast it will transport itself back in time before you ran the sim! Do you see the problem with that?
That's true a_bored_coder, and much of it should not be copied for use here on Algobox. We try to keep Algobox "family friendly" so I ask everyone to keep this in mind when posting scenes. If an Algodoo user decides to upload something that is NOT family friendly (whether from DevientArt or from any other image source), they may get warned or even banned depending on many considerations. It's my job as Admin to determine which scenes are acceptable and which ones are not. I guess you can think of me like the Algobox police officer.
@ophicleide -- If you need to ask for forgiveness for posting a "heinous scene" (your words) then why not simply delete it and start posting scenes that you won't need to ask forgiveness for?
I will allow it to stay, only because there are other weird or questionable scenes in the Algobox archive that are stranger than this one and no one has protested about them or reported them. Just keep in mind that it's very close to not being "family friendly" so think twice about the future scenes that you want to upload here. Thanks.
quote: Why do they make Fabuloso look so delicious?
Answer with a question: Why do companies make the products they sell look so delicious? (This is a rhetorical question because the answer is so obvious!)
The timing is not quite right. A traffic signal light should never turn green while the cross traffic light is displaying yellow or green. Just a minor timing adjustment should fix that!
