This scene has no end. When you run the sim, it just keeps going forever or until you get sick from staring at it and then you throw up on your computer.
Well, sort of. Many people have tried to make "3D looking" objects with Algodoo (including me) with very limited success. Let's just say, it's difficult to make an object look and behave like a real world object because Algodoo is a 2D physics simulation app. In order to get convincing results, you have to understand the math and the real world physics of the 3D object that you want to make. It's actually easy to make a stationary "3D looking" object with Algodoo, but making it move and behave properly in a 3D simulated world is very difficult to do (well, it was for me!).
Yes, I know. Nearly everyone says that. It's because you are looking at a small image in which you cannot see the smaller details that make up that image. You can only see the larger forms of the image which our brain sees as a man with a beard and long hair.
@berkayalpa -- thrcasper, 2014'ün bir dönemine kadar —sizin de aktif olduğunuz sıralarda— burada, Algobox'ta aktifti. O kişiyi tanıyor musunuz? (please reply in English if you can)
whatvaheck -- I don't know what you mean by "what happened to hello1337lol?". If you are asking why that person is no longer active on Algobox, then I cannot help you because I don't know.
Suggestion: Give the gears some texture. Maybe select "metal", "stone", or "wood" textures so that users can visibly see the gears turning in relation to each other. Of course only the first 3 or 4 gears can be seen turning because of the slow speeds of the other gears in the train. Maybe make them different colors too!
It's not "nonsense". It's called computer lag. In any physics simulation app like Algodoo, the motion and interaction of each object with other objects in the scene have to be calculated on-the-fly. That requires a fast computer. If your computer is old, or simply doesn't have the required hardware and software to handle many high speed calculations, the app will either "lag" (slow down) or in the worst case it will crash. 5K objects is a lot for even modern gaming computers. I suggest that you reduce the number of objects in the scene you are asking about. There are other ways to minimize lag but I'll save those suggestions if you still have problems after reducing the number of objects.
epic8218 -- I was wondering about something you said in a comment about another scene. You asked me "bro how does this stay on algobox, but squirmyworm's scene got a warning". I was wondering how you knew squirmywormy75 received a warning because warning messages are kept private between the Admin and the user. That tells me either you and squirmywormy75 are close friends, OR you and he are the same person. Which is it?
I can understand the confusion because sometimes a scene or a comment might be close to that fine line that determines if a scene or a comment violates a rule. In those cases it is up to the Admin (currently me) to determine if a scene or a comment stays posted or gets deleted. Also, some users will sometimes disagree with my decision to remove or to keep a scene or a comment, but I have the final decision in those cases. Some people think that I'm too easy on rule violations and some people think that I'm too strict. The bottom line is, I try to be fair with my judgements even though not everyone will agree with my decision to keep or to remove a scene or a comment.
I do appreciate it when people report what they believe is a rule violation because I cannot always look at every posted scene and every comment every day, and so I may occasionally miss something that other people catch.
