Okay, I proved that a comment can be edited on a mobile. I made my original comment with just the word TEST. I wrote the comment using my Windows desktop computer. Then I edited the text on my mobile phone by adding the five X's to the word TEST. My phone is a standard Android cell phone.
Yup, there are a few different versions of this paradox floating around the Internet, and mathematicians have been discussing them for a very long time. I love this stuff!
Quote: "You can probably increase the number of neccessary clicks to reach 4 by setting sim.frequency to its max value of 36000Hz"
That's interesting! I thought the max sim frequency value was 1200Hz. I've been hanging around Algobox since the year 2012 and during all those years I don't recall anyone mentioning that much higher sim frequency value. How did you learn about it?
@berkayalpa -- Well, maybe not. You could have known him for a long time but you lost touch with him and so now you might be wondering if I knew what happened to him.
First of all, a comment cannot be edited with the browser in the Algodoo app. You must use a standard web browser like Firefox or Edge or Chrome. While using the browser, go to the Algobox website and in the upper-right corner of the page you will see the sign-in information. After you sign-in with your username and password, go to the comment that you want to edit and click on the little yellow pencil and blue paper in the upper right corner of the comment. Once in the comment you can cut, copy, paste and reword any of your text. When satisfied with it click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the comment. Done!
I get confused when people talk about "gen Z, gen Alpha, gen xyz, gen whatever" Why don't people simply mention age groups like they used to such as "under 11, 11 to 15, 16 to 18, and over 18"? That makes more sense to me than some stupid names that have been assigned to age brackets!
erilogam -- You are a newbie here on Algobox, so before you jump to do things please read the rules, and also please learn how to properly report a rules violation. DO NOT report rule violations in comments like you did here. Use the REPORT link at the top of each scene to report a scene or click on the little yellow triangle that you see at the top of each comment to report the comment. If you use the Algodoo built-in browser then there are many things that you cannot do because that browser is very limited. Use a standard browser like FireFox or Edge to post and edit comments and to report offenses. Go to Algobox with your browser and log-in with your Algodoo username and password. You will then have much more power and abilities than you had with that limited Algodoo browser.
Answer: Just as I tell everyone else who asks that question.... If you copied a scene or a part of a scene without the other user's permission, then the answer is NO.
There are a few exceptions, and they are: You may copy and upload someone else's scene if they comment in the scene description something like: "You can copy and use my stuff as long as you give me credit." OR, if the other person is no longer an active member of Algobox. You can look at their most recent scenes and comments to see the dates they were posted. If older than a couple of years, then you can take a chance by using their work. BUT, if that person should return to using Algobox again and complains about you using their items, then you will have to delete them.
