s_noonan and Little -- You both probably know this, but just in case you don't here are some things about the Algobox Search feature that I discovered over the years:

1. If I search like this...

Search Words: General Purpose Libraries/Manuals
Author: Little
Search In: Title

Result: Sorry, your query didn't return any results!


2. If I search like this...

Search Words: General Purpose Libraries/Manuals
Author: (leave blank)
Search In: Title

Result: It displays every scene with the word General in the title, plus every scene with the word Purpose in the title, and the same for the words Libraries and Manuals. (Way too much information!)


3. If I search like this (added quotation marks around search words)...

Search Words: "General Purpose Libraries/Manuals"
Author: (leave blank)
Search In: Title

Result: Just ONE scene titled General Purpose Libraries/Manuals.

Curtis -- How do you know Punka1000? Why do you believe his is innocent of breaking the Algobox rules?

@Curtis -- Punka1000 is not innocent of violating Algobox rules! In fact he was warned the first time about posting camp and voting scenes, and then after being warned he did it again! I can give people only so many warnings about violating rules but then they need to be punished. Even after being warned and banned for 10 days the first time he violated the rules, he did it again! He was given multiple chances and he continued to abuse the Algobox rules. So, you see, I had no choice but to ban him permanently. When I ban a user, I leave a message on their account that explains why they were banned. The following is a copy of that message I wrote for Punka1000:

You have been warned numerous times about not posting "camp" scenes and you even have previously been banned for the same violation, and YOU DID IT AGAIN! You obviously have no regard for rules, and so, as warned this ban is forever.

Because of his disregard for rules, I will not unban him.

s_noonan -- Just for fun I switched out your little mechanical flag shaker with some script and also some adjustments to the Algodoo air friction. The flag now (in my humble opinion) waves in a more chaotic and natural manner. If interested, here is what I did:

1. After deleting the mechanical shaker, select the entire flag so that every one of the spongified sections is selected.

2. Right click on any point on the flag then click on "Script Menu".

3. Add the following script: airfrictionMult = {
(rand.uniform01 * 2) + (math.sin(sim.time * 2)) + (math.cos(system.time * 5))
}

4. Reduce density of all flag sections to: density = 0.42

5. Close the flag scriptMenu.

6. Right click the AIR control button to bring up the air friction control panel.

7. Set wind speed = 36 m/S. Set wind angle to -90 degrees.

Gravity can be ON or OFF.

When you run the scene, the flag should wave in a somewhat convincing manner.

Does "og" mean what I think it means?

@ElijahinAlgodoo -- In one of your previous scenes you stated: "I must be addicted to flags". So, do you consider yourself a vexillologist?

My next question: What did you mean by "vexillogy neutron activation" in your comment? Were you just being silly for some reason, or is it an allegory for a dark or hidden meaning having to do with nuclear physics?

@Curtis -- There is nothing in this scene that breaks any of the Algodoo rules. If you were to search on the title "20th Century Fox" (include the quotes) you will see there are HUNDREDS of similar scenes in the Algodoo archive. Did you also warn those users about mad lawyers?

What exactly is this? I pressed e as instructed but nothing much happens except for some of those green circles fall down.

It seems to be 17 lasers in a row randomly bouncing around causing their light beams to randomly flicker and flash in a haphazard manner. Yeah, I don't call that an illusion either.

You are correct, Little! The last scene of the last page is a really bad robotic Homer Simpson. It so far received 25 #1 votes, and a few other votes in the low numbers below 5. This (s_noonan's) scene so far has only 5 #1 votes, so his scene has a way to go in order to be voted the worst on Algobox!

s_noonan -- Your last check bounced, so no can do. Sorry.

I concur with what Little stated.

That's because I got the idea from an old animation in which the birds were called Boids for some reason. It was a number of years ago so I don't recall exactly where I found it, but it wasn't from Algobox if that's what you were thinking.

The rifle won't fire because the ammo doesn't get pushed up from the magazine into the breech. Did you forget to do something?

No problem, chickenbiso! Your scene is actually better than many other people's scenes who are new to Algodoo.

Let me make sure what I think "og" means. Is it "old guy"? If that's it, please let me know who told you that because no one here on Algobox knows me on a personal level. But of course the word "old" is relative. To a seven year old child, yes you can say I'm old, but to a young adult, I don't see myself as old at all! If "og" doesn't mean "old guy" then please explain what it means!

Wow! Massive gigantic BIG BOOM! Like you said, one bomb when detonated can cause the other bombs to explode. The entire planet Earth was destroyed and now there is nothing left in the entire Universe. Wait.... How am I writing this comment if the entire Universe was destroyed?

Your text banner in the scene says: "Make sure to make the plane immortal when using the bombs!"

That's not necessary because YOU already made the plane immortal!

I never heard that term used before, so I Googled it and it said, "To show respect: Calling someone an "OG" in a comment means you acknowledge their seniority, expertise, or foundational status in a community or hobby (e.g., “You are the real OG of this gaming community.”).

Oh, Okay, that makes sense. In your future scenes it would be a good idea to explain that sort of thing in the scene description.
