Thanks guys! :)
I can make it go much faster just by increasing the thruster force. I even tried INFINITE force, but for some reason, that doesn't work at all.
frutmonger - I played around with this scene, and found that I can acheive the exact same mouse following function, but in a much simpler fashion. I got rid of the thrusters, and in the circle "pos" I put {app.mousepos}. Now the circle is stuck to the mouse cursor, and it follows it around perfectly without spinning!
@s_noonan - You're right! Your math works better than mine!
First off, this is NOT a 3D car. There is nothing 3D about it. Secondly, you stuck 312 axles all over the car, which have no purpose other than to cause a ton of LAG. Sorry, but I rate this a 1.
Um..... what is this scene supposed to do? I start Algodoo, and nothing happens!
Hey s_noonan - Nice job! In fact, I was thinking about doing a scene that explains PWM, and how it could be used, so I did a search to see what was already out there and yours popped up! My scene is going to be a little more into the nuts and bolts of WHAT PWM is and HOW it can be used to drive various forms of analog loads (DC motors, solenoids, speakers, etc). Your secen shows PWM in action, and you did a great job of it, but for someone who doesn't have a clue about what PWM is, I think they would benefit from a scene that explains it at a lower level. When finished, please let me know what you think about it! I'll try to have it finished within a couple of days.

Again, NICE JOB!
Nice effect. Good job!
Thanks, s_noonan! :)
Algodooinfinity - That's easy. Simply adjust the "Fade Time" of the tracers. (That can be done with Thyme script) :)

That little circle at the bottom of the painting has the BIGGEST OnCollide script I've ever seen! In fact, it's so huge that the text over-writes itself when I try to expand it out! You must have written the script in a text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad and then copied it to the OnCollide. In any case, this must have taken you many hours to complete. I'M IMPRESSED!!!!
THIS SCENE IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I want to try to make a multi-head printer like a real ink-jet printer. And as Kilinich noted, it should go much faster.

EXCELLENT JOB! I WOULD RATE THIS SCENE 100 IF I COULD.

(Unfortunately, that "yousendit" link in the OP is no longer valid)

By the way, in case you haven't noticed, the disco ball is hanging from a rope, and so you can grab the ball with your GRAB tool, then let go and allow it to swing like a pendulum. That would add a nice effect to it. :*)

Please comment and rate the scene how you like it (or hate it).

I once drove a real 1959 Chevy Impala from California to Wisconsin pulling a trailer. It was a really great car, and I wish I still had it!

By the way, I rated this scene a 7. It would have been a 10 but the suspension is much too soft and it allows the wheels to extend way past the body which is not normal. Also, the rear tire seems to move toward the front of the car and loses its proper position at the rear of the car. The graphics are outstanding, so you just need to do a better job on the "mechanics" and the physics.

I changed the word "PAPER" to "XRAY", and the copy still had the word "PAPER" on it. It does copy the color of the paper, but not the text.

The copy portion of the scene needs work, but I'll give it a high rating for the paper recycling mechanism. That's pretty clever!
One thing that I forgot to mention is DO NOT CLICK YOUR MOUSE BUTTONS! That will mess up your drawing if you do. Only use the Ctrl-key and move your mouse to draw lines, as instructed. Thanks!
@s_noonan - Nicely done. Very responsive.

Thanks, man! I appreciate that.

@s_noonan - P.S. I noticed that the screenshot thumbnail in Algobox does not match your scene. Can you explain how to change the automatically saved thumbnail or direct me to a url that explains it?

I noticed that too, and I cannot explain what's going on. The thumbnail shows a sample image that I drew just prior to saving the scene. But for some reason, that image did not get saved along with the rest of the scene. I am not aware if there is any way to edit the thumbnail. Maybe Kilinich, electronicboy, or one of the other Algodoo experts could shed some light on that question. Sorry I cannot help you. :(
Hey guys... I found another bug in this scene which requires a simple fix. When drawing a line, if the cursor happens to touch the wood-colored border, all the existing tracers in the drawing start to float away from their original positions. I'll see if I can edit and update the scene that's currently in Algobox.

EDIT -- DONE! That bug was squashed!

Why did you say that my scene doesn't work? It works just fine. You have an old version of Algodoo, so that's probably why you have problems with it.
All of my scenes were made with the latest verstion of Algodoo. If people don't want to upgrade, then the problem is THEIRS, and not with my scenes. Please don't worry about my scenes and what people might say about them. Just take care of your own scenes and everything will be okay. Thanks
faytree - That's YOUR problem, not mine. Upgrade to the latest version and everything will work just fine.
faytree - Yes, I can forgive you, but just one time, not 70 times 7 times.;)
I can't make it do anything. The scene NEEDS INSTRUCTIONS!
Nice job on your One Hit Wonder, but it appears to have many more limitations than my Keyboard Decoder scene. For one, you need to substitute the Shift key for the Spacebar. And for another, what good is cycling through numbers 0 - 9? How would you type in a number such as 279.53? Yes, I know that your scene is far from finished and needs a lot of work (like mine does) before it can be a completed functioning scene, but I don't see how yours can be any more useful than mine. Please explain.

By the way, in case you hadn't figured it out, the reason why I force Algodoo to continue to run in my scene is so that the Spacebar can be used to enter a SPACE character. Otherwise, Algodoo would stop running each time you hit the Spacebar!

Edit -- One more "By the way".... Those little boxses with the two lasers in them are a design by Kilinich. I needed a way to determine when a keyboard key was pressed and then subsequently released, and Kilinich suggested that method rather than using "keys.bind".

s_noonan -Thanks for the explanations. It all makes sense now, and you DID do a great job of simplifying the keypress function. Simple is better (so says Occam). :)

Yes, Kilinich is highly educated and he has a lot of programming experience (I know this because he told me). I do have some previous programming experience but no where near the level that he's at. For what it's worth, much of his code makes my head spin too!

Again, nice job.
How did you get a picture of my ex-wife?
MrLucasManSwe -- DAMN! You're right! I usually check my own grammar and spelling, but I posted this scene late at night when it was way past my bed time, so my brain was in a fog. LOL

EDIT: I corrected the spelling.

faytree -- Yes, that actually is a picture of my ex-wife when she was normal.

I don't eat crap for lunch.
Nice effect! and like Gent said, "damn cool"!
Wow! This is even "damn cooler" than your first noonan's circle!
