nice idea to make a text input.
i was planning to add position inputs for my arm via mouse positioning. place the mouse to where the arm should go and then press enter for the position input and another button to erase all positions.
yeah ok it's more precise with manual text input, that's an argument.
i didn't do much for my project because i was too busy or too lazy but now i'm motivated
i also had big problems at my first try but fortunately it worked at the second where i checked every step to avoid problems. that's also a reason why there are so much lasers and the code isn't just in one single object
you need to make a few adjustments at the spring and at the hinges. the torque is WAAAAY to high. try to make the spring loger and the constant stronger and the motor torque weaker so that it can't turn more than 90 degrees.
uh-oh your variables aren't good...
the variables only will be stored in YOUR config file and not in the scene. only use custom variables that are saved to the scene so the code will work on other PCs
nice scripting. i looked at it and it's seriously kick ass!! especially the projectile code is a good idea this scene is so fun to play
i would give the projectiles a bit more of a blast at impact but it's just my personal liking
[EDIT]
YEAH AN UPDATE WOHOO
wow now it's as twice as cool than before!
@heretic
yeah right it's from E=hf=mc²
with this formula you also can calculate the frequency of light that's needed to generate particles from that light quantum
