I'm going to rule out any of these people:

The Body Discoverers
Anybody not in the storage room or sports equipment room before Kana's murder.

This leaves Morima, Gelatin, and Rejo.

Wait a minute, I think I have a lead here.

Remember when Rejo told me about the hammer when I asked about it?

Here's how this case played out:

First, the killer headed to the SE Room, and grabbed a bat that was in the corner of that room.
They then left the door open.
The killer had hoped to frame Gelatin for the murder they were about to commit, as Gelatin was in the SE room before the murder.
Next the killer went to the kitchen and grabbed two weapons: a cleaver and a kitchen knife.
They then found someone to murder in the storage closet-Kana.
The killer threw the cleaver they had at Kana, striking her leg and slamming her into the shelf, which is how the blood on the shelf and the hammer got where they were.
The cleaver then fell out of Kana as she backed up, terrified, into the wall.
The killer then jumped onto Kana, grabbed their bat, and knocked Kana out.
The killer then struck the kitchen knife right into Kana's head, killing her instantly.

p2 cuz whatevs

The killer then put the bat in the corner, and left.
Kana most likely woke up when the killer was sticking the knife into her head, and she tried to protect herself.
The knife, however, missed her hand, and went into the left side of her face.

That's all there is to it.
