Your welcome;) to change the size of the spawned circles first select one of the little circles that hit the piston and spawn the circles. then hit select alike, this should highlight all of them, then scroll down to the script menue. in that you will find some stuff in the on collide section, I'm assuming you borrowed the spawn circles fom another scene, in that mess you will see a place for "radius", thats what controlls the size of the circles! experiment and have fun!! also look up V twin and other engine types in wikipedia the more you know about engines the better you will get at making them in Phun

much better! there is a lot of unneeded junk in the script for the spawn circles! I'll try and clean up the script and make it easier to understand for you, once you start getting the hang of it its not that hard;)
Also any engine will benifit from being ballanced, temporarily change the collision group on the spawn circles to collides with nothing and add a weight oposite the point where the connecting rod hooks to the flywheel and adjust the density of it till the engine will pretty much stop in any position. I could go on and on.........
you still need to move the killers down that will allow even bigger spawned circles;)
need to tie em all together like you did in the 2 banger;)
I'm on yahoo messenger I will look into MSN
LOL I guess I should make a truly powerful spawn engine. most of my stuff has been made to look cool, I didnt make this engine I just modified it!
The big problem with spawn engines in moving vehicles is you start outruning the spawned objects at speed without fairly advanced scripting which I'd rather not get into:bonk:
I signed up for MSN my id is Gentharris
You are getting better;) but it looks cooler and runs just as good if not better with the radius at.1 instead of .15 would also be much smoother if it was ballanced

yes
Thanks, why only an 8?
Cool;)
pretty cool chain drive sux tho believe me I know getting it to fire ATDC is key good job
Pretty cool good job
Hmm dev8state I didnt't know that! No wonder a seemingly reliable spawn engine craps out after a long run:bonk: I have been making collision change engines which seem to work well
It works even better if you only spawn a single larger circle and ballance it:tup:
fun I actualy won
well at least it fails in an interesting way:rolleyes: I have tried to make working engines with that type of hinges and it always fails
nice improvement keep up the good work:tup:
decent:unsure: you realy need to ballance it, move the killer down a bit, add a flywheel and spawn bigger circles then you will be jammin:tup:
pretty quick
I know this isnt the REAL Kilinich way too crappy copy of Paradigms work!!!
If your going to pretend to be one of the gods in this community at least post
something that works:tdown:    you should be banned:mad:
Massive lag on my comp but still very nice:tup:
Hi dev8state I just tweaked the timing some the engine runs much faster without
all the laggy stuff from the main scene
You can download 1.7.4 and install it in a different place from your other version?
I'll see if I can make a Phun version
hmmm mine runs much faster and has lots of power I guess if thats being owned
I'll have to try harder:bonk:
decent job for a first engine:tup: Suggestion: make the spawned circles the same size as the cylinder and move the killers down, you'll get a lot more power:cool:
Sorry BluGain, that comment was more directed at funnypig:blush:
Your engine is very nice and does a good job of illustrating the 4 stroke principal:tup:
Mine also shows the different strokes by color change, I guess mine is more geared tward people that already understand the concept:bonk:
If you try to build a high speed 4 stroke engine you will find that the Phun
polygon gears wont work well and the timing will slip)|( Anyway nice job
again:angel:
Nice power
wapperott, what did you open it with? try reloading the scene also there is an updated version:unsure: some of the big ducks in this pond liked it so I'm sorry it didn't work for you
PS there is also a phun version
I gave you a 10 in response to the 2 you gave me on a scene I spent a ton of time on
did you try reloading the scene? it works fine for me on several different computers
also there is an updated version thats more reliable
