Rules:
Move 1 piece each turn. You can not go through a piece that is yours except the knight
Try to land on the opponents pieces. If you do, you 'capture' it. If you capture it, remove it from the board.
If you make a move which next turn makes it possible to take out their king, say "Check" The opponent must find a way to not have their king 'captured'
If there is nothing that the player can do to defend there king, say "Checkmate" This means you win
How Each Piece Moves:
Pawn: First turn, can move 1 or 2 forward. Then can only move 1 forward
Rook: Up, Down, Left, or Right.
Bishop: Diagonally
Queen: Up, Down, Left, Right, or Diagonally
King: Up, Down, Left, Right, or Diagonally 1 space
Knight: Quite confusing to explain. You have 8 options.
2 Left 1 Up
2 Left 1 Down
2 Up 1 Left
2 Up 1 Right
2 Right 1 Up
2 Right 1 Down
2 Down 1 Left
or 2 Down 1 Right
Notable Info:
You can only go through a player if your a knight
You can not land on your own piece
Pawns can not go backwards
Pawns can only attack if they are 1 left 1 up or 1 right 1 up of them.
Pawns can turn into any piece that has been 'captured' if it reaches the other side

I actually didjn't know that. I just know I forgot to mention you should put queen on the color they are (Black queen on black square, white queen on white square at the beginning)
