Srly, why do you guys upload tons of scenes with your "camps", if every of your "days" is freaking short! Every of these scenes is containing 15 seconds of "action", and then you post another scene for another 15 seconds, and another and so on...
Why dont you simply make a really long one with a lot of efford in it, that is actually enjoyable, instead of 2 dozens of scenes per week that spam away everything else
You want me to fix your current turrets? Your current bullet script is broken, so the bullets wont shoot. I recommend you to take the base of one of my turrets(best would be the one of the basic turret), copy it, and redesign it for your new turret. This way you have a full preset of working code for the stuff you want
I know a technique to make a very accurate pentagon on a normal piece of squared paper (or on a grid):
Pick a points, mark it,
go 3 squares to the right, mark that point
go 3 squares down, and 4 left, mark that point
go 3 squares up, and 4 left, mark that point
3 up, 1 right, mark
3 down, 1 right, mark
All tasks done in reference to the FIRST point, not to the previous.
Now connect the 5 points with the first one in the middle, extend the connection lines, and draw a Circle around the first point. Connect the 5 points where the circle intersects the lines ,and voila, you get an accurate pentagon
Right now, it seems like an algodoo update or similar broke the script, so I need to fix it again, which can be hard when thinking about how much text this is and how it is'nt even fully my own code xD
Guys, remember this isnt a marble race or a camp. This scene will contain a race , thats not divided in different scenes. All stages will be sticked together, and in the end will end up in a circle-path, meaning that the characters run about 3-5 rounds. Things like rttb wouldnt fit for one because it is not very sports-like, and also is like a dead-end, which wouldnt fit into the round-system.
#1: make an object
#2 Open its script box
#3 ???
#4 Move the object
#5 PROFIT!!!
Kidding, you use the scripting feature of algodoo to add a series of randomniced balls on the target objects which for themselfes update their look while existing, resulting in an everchanging trail
could you please type correctly? Its friendly, not fiendly. its eliminated, not elenaded. Also try to put more effords in your scene, then more people will view it
The friction IS set to 0 on all walls, so it can be easily seen how they move in all directions. Simply change the friction of the walls to 0.5 or any value to enable.
seems like you are interrested in scripting? If you are, don'T try to post a new scene for every script you find out, and instead try to use it. Also, I am avaiable to teach you on learning how to do awesome scripts
If you need to see some examples of what I usually script, check out my scenes ^^
It's not geometrydash if theres friction, restitution, and the ability to pause right on the road. You have to improve that. If you need someone to script your stuff, just ask me, ill help any time
Also, one thing I got curious about: Could it be that your movement script is actually my invention? Same variables, same angvel, same velocity, same code structure overall. Just go to part 1/2/3 of my The Factory scenes(click on my username to get to my scenes), right click the character, and look inside the update/postStep box. I'm really sure that I am the one who originally created that script, and you got it via 3rd party from alasmyfoe. You can keep it of course, since it's usefull for games, but I just wanted to note that I am pretty sure I made this code back then.
So this is the third time you uploaded a scene callling people to sign up for your "camp" after the last two also only had 9 or 8 entries? This seems kinda futile. Why dont you try dooing some other type of scene, then people get interrested, download it frequently, and perhaps they browse your older scenes and notice your call for participans. Maybe then you get more successfull with your scenes
Why do algicosathlon stuff at al? So you can create scenes that last 10 seconds, then post their "results" a few minutes after that? Algodoo wasn't made for that, and it should really slow down with the camps and voting and stuff
