Reason: Not Water because how can Water push Teal when he is in the pool? Midnight was the one who avoided Teal. Midnight is mysterious so we don't know he motives or where he went. My best guess is that he planned to kill Teal while the conidences happened.
Reason: Midnight probaly wants to elinimate Black-Lime because in the despricton of Black-Lime it says that he is a spy so Midnight wants to reduce his chances of being caught killing people. Therefore he put some sort of bomb inside of the pancakes and Black-Lime was foolish to nnot reliaze he ate the bomb.. Towards the part where he exploaded it is said that Dandelion sneaked over to eat pancakes and Midnight looked over. I conclude that Midnight wanted to see if the bomb is still there.
