- Look at the pistons closely (everything is in invisible group) and lasers, they are crossing each other but gap between them is just for piston "arm?" so only one laser is active at time
- First version had working valve because it had only one piston, but when i added second with 90° offset, they can act as timing valves for each other, so lasers are near them, but mechanics was working so i wanted them, even as a visual detail

- You just cannot pitch as hard as you can at start, that will stall you
Just roll all length of the runway, then slightly pull up, if you pull up too much, you will lose too much speed and fall

OMG Lucas, your B-25 scene is perfect (except flying model) and it was my idol while i was doing this scene_o_

Maybe invisible balls which are limitating guns movements are doing this, if so, it is algodoo bug, and i need to find other way how to limit these guns...It needs more testing and time, which i don´t have right now

But this is too low, you need to pull up hard to do real landing
It is easy, your plane need to be able to stall itself when pulled too hard (figher will turn easily, and this is heavy airliner, so it will raise only a bit, but lose a lot of speed, then stall)
Diference between them is T/R ratio

I used that in my scene "Locomotive" too, before update it was actually working but high speeds forced me to use scripts instead, but i keep it just for visuals
Crazy how small movement of lever can cause whole engine (train in my case) change direction:D

But why is it working at max RPM at neutral "gear"?
Shouldn´t it go fastest when lever is in top or bottom position?:o

10/10 and goes into favorite, more scenes like this and you will earn a new sub.
Xray - I´m not sure why, but this car is really simple, i believe you know where clutch is, so find that axle and set +inf on torque, that should destroy script that prevent engine from stalling, so make sure to use neutral gear while doing that.

Xray - They also make light to travel faster, and they could travel at 99% of speed of light, so that mean it is actually faster that "our" light:o
Bessy´s engine have efficiency of 200%, so maybe it was moving universe with acceleration of normal ship, even if thrust is OVER 9000...

S_noonan - I accidentally found this script in console while I was looking for something like "execute" in Java, i want to find closest object with property, for ex. materialName:"object" and command will return everything, like pos vel etc. of that object, even if there are more object with that name

But yeah, i can put it into HELI AI tower, so if someone doesn´t like that, he can delete that box

I hate that command because I never can find that object and thus, i cannot inspect how does it work, but still beter than when someone put it into console and then it works in EVERY scene, only solution is reset algodoo to default settings :mad: :tdown: :grr:

I want to have multiple objects with same property (blue color for ex.)
Then i want to "scan" for blue objects and pick one, then get it´s properties, like pos etc.
Also this need more geometry to work more smootly, so you can get higher rpm, without breaking or jamming too much
I used just image from toni and lucas to build mine "locomotive"
I also have same "static" engines before it was used in moving train, maybe i can upload some of them...

Had same idea. I wanted do drag rectangle over object to select them, and return IDs or something, to make warcraft-like units selecting for click army...
I found some group with name "selected" while digging in console, but couldn´t get it to work too:/

Yeah but if you are NOT using killer planes, then water is still calculating, thus CPU consuming, but can try that!
I was thinking about spawning circles with timeToLive:=1/sim.frequency; that delete just ONE water drop at time and counting that...But not too sure about how heavy it will be or CPU

- About that? That whole scene is just OCEAN of text? Yeah I know that and I´m using that when making long scripts, copy script to notepad, edit, paste back
Actually parts of codes are in several .txt files on my desktop:D
- First is for short common scripts as: For n , keys.isDown and description etc.
- Second with hinge and it usage: from motors, stretched axles, to "way how to trasmit data between two objects" (yeah, that is what hinge mean to me:D )
- Then few with longer script that are just pasted into object console, like piston for. ex, just open Fixate script menu, ctrl+v that file and you have working piston! Same with bombs with effects, homing rockets, etc.
- Or use phunlets to store code, for ex. I want quickly add X Y Z Q as variabiles so load phunlet with scene.my.X=0.....scene.my.Q=0 timeToLive=0
(It is like meseecs, just tool that die/despawn when finished)
or If I want readables from hinge, I will search for my 100T scale (black box that measure weight by hinge attached to background), and use that part of code from that, same for water spawner etc.
Simply I have HUGE folder named "AlgodooTools" that have all sort of textures, 3-rd party tools for algodoo or enginering, some vector programs to draw textures etc....Yeah it have few GB totally :bonk:
