Your (NOT)Working menu GUI looks similar to Drop Down Menu. What specific type of GUI control are you trying to make? Would one of the controls in AlgoGUI work?

Regarding "the font size remains relatively small from the previous text entry", I will not fix that. However, I did add functionality for the Enter and Escape keys to be used as alternates for the OK and Cancel buttons. I also fixed it so that the textScale resets on the original box.
