"soft" objects have been around for quite some time. Search for "softbody" or "soft body", and you will get numerous scenes displaying many kinds, probably hundreds if you include Phunbox 1. A lot of them use springs from before beta five and may not function right, but they've been made with springs, hinge stretching, and even water. For a long time, they were sort of a fad. As soft bodies go, this one is rubbish. And by no means is this one bouncy, as is claimed in the title. Look around at how some of the others are made for inspiration on improvements you could make.

Wait, I checked who the author is. Physicsguy? Haven't you been around long enough to know what a soft body is?

Interesting. It gets pretty confused if it flips, though.
A good scene doesn't need to be whored out.

I'm glad to see our little walker didn't die with the RaUnit. Very cool guns too.
Clever, I like it.
If it doesn't do anything, it isn't worth uploading.
Learn to use punctuation. It makes you sound less stupid.
Did you playtest this?
Not a great leg design for an offroader. I'd suggest something more robust and simple. A more rounded stride will help it with obstacles too.
It starts killing stuff if I select something and look at the materials menu...
Neat! I can see this in a bumper or something. I think it's clever.
Clever.
Bug-like shapes work great for walkers. Especially feet. Claw feet work wonders on rough ground.
WOW! Impressive!
Wow, had no idea what that did. And to think, I spent so much time making a scripted stabilizer when I could just do that.
The message appears because the program takes a long time to load that file. It's a very large file, with all the textures and detailed shading.
The lags get out of synch after a while.
Hey, I started this way back before Phunbox 2!
Why does it say no Thyme? This is a scripting project.
Actually, it's pretty damn nice as beginner work goes. Heck, I saw it featured today.
Lame. There are MUCH better ways to make walking mechanisms. You should look around at other walkers for inspiration, because you will get better looks and better performance out of a more complicated mechanism. Many people wouldn't even call that a walker.
The default friction for gears is 0.05. It should be higher if you use them as wheels.
Does not work in Algodoo. The course explodes at the checkpoint.
It is really hard. I couldn't finish. And sometimes, the OVNI destroys the ground.
