Ok, tried pos:= e.this.pos and worked. Now let's try with 2 strokes per turn.
The polygons make the engine to go fast, an I couldn't find much more torque by converting them into boxes.
A nuclear reactor doesnt work like that. It makes water to convert into steam and drive a turbine, and that water is heated by the uranium when compressed.
It hasn't got too many parts, just search for IRIS engine on Google Images and there's a drawing from National Geographic that shows how it's done. It has got a few parts!
Anyways, you're reasoned. I really don't know how it does to use the stroke, because the flywheel gives a very little turn and the rods get opened.
I was saying to make two strokes per crankshaft turn, alternating 3 arms for each stroke.
It's hard, because we don't know what angle the arms are in bore, but let's try!
Ok, I didn't see that. The springs just give you more strenght and some rad/s, but if it has the necessary strnght to move a car or some weight, it's ok.
Maybe you could try putting rods AND springs? Just try.
Yes, I'll try to fix that. Most controls are just nonsense, like the partial clutch.
The track is made like that because I've erased it like three times!
Anyways thanks!
That's it. If Fiat does a car with a 1.0 TJET litre engine with just 100 hp and that has the same fuel consumption as a 500 cm3 motorcycle, and they sell it at a low price, it'd be epic.
Just think that a small TJet engine that gives the same torque that a normal 1.4 would suck a very few fuel, with some 90 hp! It can be done, sure!
huh. You should use geometry created valve cam, it's easy to do and works really good!
Also use squares for the valve pins, they have better collision.
You should make the flywheel of radius like 0.1875 to prevent engine stopping. Also, the accelerator works better if you put the hinge motor on AND the up arrow.
Anyways, works good! In size for a big one
Gent, you can put legacyMode 0 axles, they work ok. I've done 3 tests with legacyMode 0 axles, and 3 with legacyMode 1. It works faster with legacyMode 0 axles (like 0.2 seconds less on average).
I can see that you want better aesthetics than performance. The pistons have to be boxes, and the spawner has to spawn only 1 ball. Use Scene.removeEntity(e.other) on the spawners to do this, and delete the killer ball.
You should put the killer box a bit more down (like 0.2 meters).
Anyways, it works well
