Pretty cool, but why did you make the time stop when clicking the laser? This game design allows players to dwell on their strategy theoretically forever, while judging the player on ability to move and click the mouse sufficiently fast. Kind of like chess with timers, but the timer only starts ticking when you pick up a piece. Having said that, I think it's a good concept and could work very well as a online multiplayer site. Complete with micro-transactions and leaderboards, of course.
Also, this might not be the place to do this but sad to see you step down as an admin. You were always a beacon of light in the murky waters of marble races, tournaments and exploding portraits.
