I decided to cannibalise your scene and something really wierd happened, can someone explain it to me.

just edit the script on the box
in the text field add the same script that the other scenes have
which is: {"" + scene.my.time}

Nice idea and well engineered but you dont appear to have done much testing as its very uncontrollable

so gonna edit it then?
