thanks a lot! was actually wondering if there was something like that i could use for the balls so they wouldnt collide together. yea i do know about save and reshare just thought of making them separate to see the improvement. thanks again for them help it really made a huge difference!
the script math.toint that is used in the speedometer is something that ive been looking for a while. can someone maybe explain to me or show me where i can find scripts like that. im trying to make an easy "mpg" meter for my engines and its exactly what i need. thanks for reading
lol breaking my heart:p well maybe if someones new and didnt see it before theyll get something out of it who knows.
how do you calculate the hp?
ah yea you are right although i do have a reason for my insanity. for example the size is just so i can easily see m/s as mph and the ' key is right next to my enter key on my keyboard so when i start the engine i essentially press both keys at the same time which is easy to do since they are so close together. ive been thinking alot about changing the size tho especially since now ive started using my own speedometers instead of the velocities tab u get by right clicking. Thanks for the comment!
yea its so m/s looks like mph without having to convert it
algodoo 6.15 lmao... intel core 2 duo 1.66ghz, 3gb ram, windows 7 64bit
so i did this test about 6 times and my results were well different. test 1 and 3 were both in the 6's and test 2 was in the mid 5's. i then decided to set aldogoos affinity in my task manager to only one of my processors and turns out the next three tests were all in the mid to high 5's. strange? a lower time means u have a better computer right
what you could do is make two lasers and two boxes. the original box (from your scene) would have hitbylaser = { scene.my.thrust = 1 } with the laser on circle that hits it.

the second box would be somewhere off of the circle with the second laser constantly hitting it. that box would have hitbylaser = { scene.my.thrust = 0 }.

then make the force on ur thruster { scene.my.thrust }.

one thing you have to look out for when doing this is when u create it and set everything up youll have to delete one of the lasers and make another one (I think the laser on the circle). that makes it update after the other laser. otherwise the thruster would always be 0.

if u need me to show u with the scene I could do it.

good luck!

thank! and yea i do like being able to zoom in really close on things esp engines, another reason, which may sound weird but when i look at the speed (m/s) i just think of it as mph so if the car is going at 60m/s i think of it as 60mph. i know thats totally wrong and have been thinking about actually making things normal size but its just the way i prefer it
may i ask why you posted my scene?
its a polish car that was manufactured in warsaw, which is why its called warszawa because of the capital of poland where it was made.
