Frank, hinge-suspensions sure aren't that advanced. any1 can make a hinge suspension.
It's only the matter of making the hinge susp travel slowly and soft.
So, with hinges u are to "manually" adjust the dampening and strenght.
That's what's challenging with hinge susps.
And yeah, hinges have gotten pretty "shaky" now in the latest verisions, but that just makes it so much funnier.
I'm currently working on some serious hinge suspensions that uses like.. 200 objects where small balls attached to hinges represent gas and so on.
I've given up on springs totally.
How fun is it to just attach a spring to a arm or piston whatever and then slide it to perfection?
Anyone can move a spring slider
Oh and btw.
Here's an example of an "double citation" "advanced" "double citation" spring suspension
