I know the M16A4 was Safe-Semi-Burst, this is an AR-15 styled like an M16A4, therefore it's only Safe-Semi. There is no safe mode because phun doesn't really need it.
I'm sorry about the lag, I've tried fixing it, I don't know why it's so laggy on some computers... It runs good enough on mine, and it is picky with ejecting. If it doesn't eject, you gotta select the body, hold shift, and mousewheel forward... grab the non ejected case and pull it out, and it should be good. Oh, the last case never ejects, so I like to fire 14 shots, change magazines, fire the last one, and then I have another 15 without charging the gun.
So I downloaded this and I played around with it a bit. It doesn't work terribly well to start with, but I like it. You're the first person I've seen make a legit, somewhat working belt fed MG for phun/algodoo. The rest use spawners or other methods. The problem I had was the system you had of firing seemed to get caught in front of the bolt, and it got stuck frequent. I never got it to fire full auto, but with some tweaking I got it to do some semi-auto. I'm looking forward to a working version.
