Typically, you get mod/admin status if you prove yourself to be always contributing to the community and showing loyalty, dedication, etc. Kil was persistently around for several years. The staff of the forum know they can trust him. I also have been around for a few years, but I've had periods of inactivity, so I'm not worthy of such a position. You've been around for only a few weeks, so we don't see where you have the credibility.

So yea, you can't just ask for such power. That's life.
