This train, once again, uses a triple-core gravity engine.

Start: hold up arrow key until locomotive reaches about 10 m/s.
Brake: press down arrow key.
After you fully stopped you need to do the starting thing again.

It may seem to accelerate slowly, but it accelerates by a quadratic formula due to the use of gravity. In fact, sometimes it accelerates a little too fast in the end and makes a wheelie...
Also, keep in mind it is pulling about 5 tons of freight, which is a lot, considering we don't have cubic but square meters.

You're cheating there. Couldn't you use a CVT instead of using an axle to start it? cause you're moving the 5 tons with the axle, and the engine just sits there until it has enough speed
I have no idea what a cvt is, and my previous engine design that didn't *cheat* was way less powerful. Besides, my scripting is horrible, and I find scripint also *cheating* as it artificially moves things, just like an axle hinge.
