I only have letters A through E done. Eventually, this type of scene using tracers to write text will be something much bigger. I just haven't decided what that will be yet!

The letters are formed using a 5X7 dot matrix format.

EDIT: In my next update, I will fix it so that the displayed letters do not disappear when a new letter is selected. They should remain on the screen.

Any ideas for improvements or future applications would be welcome.

Maybe it wont, but maybe you can put a tracer on each instead of the same tracer doing all the work

When active, it is visible, however when when not, it is transparent

Will this MAYBE make it easier?

Also, nice scene. A heck lot better than probally all the scenes on the new page right now :lol:

alasmyfoe - Thanks for the feedback! There already is a separate tracer for each letter, but you cannot see them because when a new letter gets displayed, the previous letter disappears. Once I fix that, then you will see that each letter has its own tracer. That's the only way that this can be done.

The Linkage - What usual tracer erasing issue are you referring to? I may have solved it if it's the issue that you cannot erase a tracer trace via script. It can only be done manually (until now!).

No no, I meant that if you traced too much with a single tracer, the trail starts to disappear to avoid lag- that was the problem i had with my horizontal printer that was also buried under marble races
