Um.... that's true. An animated texture can go very fast without breaking!
Nice animation!
Very clever how you seamlessly stitched together animations of chains and sprockets! Excellent job!
Thanks guys. It took me a long time to figure out how to get the partial sprockets to rotate about the axle in the image.
Wow! It surprises me how fast Algodoo can simulate these chains. Truly, we have come a long way. Very, very nice scene.
Also Xray, you should post comments like yours only after 5 or 6 comments have been already posted, they are too hard for the downloaders to understand before downloading.
/jk

(Xray spoilt it for me...):bonk:
Vinayak - I have no idea what you are talking about. Just because something is too complicated for you to understand, doesn't mean that other people cannot understand it. My comments are actually very simple to understand. :bonk:
OMG Xray, you totally missed the joke! I was just saying that you spoilt the fact that this scene was fake for me, before I actually saw it.
I tried to justify the fact that you should have given the surprise away later so that it wasn't in such clear sight, by giving a random pseudo-explanation to run with the joke.

I guess text IS kind of hard to find sarcasm/joking in, even when it's supposed to be dripping with it. I was trying to be funny and act like I really thought the chain was moving. Sorry if I sounded mean, I really respect you. (And no, I do not have the mental capacity of a potato, I did understand your comment):P

The fact that you posted a comment so early, saying the scene was fake, "spoilt" it for me. Not like the "You spoilt my day!" but rather like the "You spoilt the ending of that movie!" (gave the twist/surprise away). Again, I'm sorry if that sounded mean (it really does when you read it like that), this was all supposed to be a little joke and it all blew out of proportion.

But seriously, I even put a little /jk (just kidding) after I finished kidding. Like how you put </html> after a website's raw HTML format is finished, to signify where the website should end.

Double bonk. :bonk: :bonk:

No problem, Vinayak! I guess I did miss the joke/sarcasm that was behind your comments. I go up against all kinds of people here on Algobox, some with the I.Q. of a potato, and some with a PhD in physics, and everything in between. Therefore, it's not always obvious who is being rude and sarcastic, as apposed to who is just making a fun joke. Sometimes I get it right, and sometimes I miss it completely! LOL

No hard feelings I hope! :)
Hi Noonan, good to see you are still making scenes. I haven't done any in a long time, life has been crazy for me for a few years now.
Hey wild bill.... I sure do miss you, kilinich, karatebrot, and all the other "old timers" who used to post a lot of excellent scenes here on Algobox. For the past few years, Algobox has turned into a kindergarten where little children post static scenes of colorful stickmen. There are still a few "technical" guys here like s_noonan, myself, and a handful of others, but if the trend continues, there won't be any of us left, and Algobox will be totally overrun with toddlers and grade school kids.
Hi wild bill, it's good to hear from you. I agree with Xray's assessment. I appreciate all the cool scenes you made in the past and I'm one of your subscribers in case you make any new scenes.
Haha kindergarten
Mits - It's not funny at all. Many of us who appreciate Algodoo for its power and its wide variety of physics simulation tools miss the "old days" before Algobox was overrun with children posting static stickman and algocathlon scenes. We are hoping that the current changes will at least get us back a small percentage of the website that we lost to them over the past few years.
Nicely done!
Though the Illusion breaks, if you look to close or try to put something on the chain.
