I agree, this is pretty weird. I'm fairly certain that the weirdness happens because of the fact that you set the rotational speed of the axle attached to the circle to infinite RPM. When I move the RPM slider down to a more sensible value (such as 100 RPM) then the objects in the scene behave normally.

So, the moral to this story is, "Don't try to do things in Algodoo that are not customary or sensible. When you make anything spin at infinite RPM, all kinds of weirdness might happen! :o
