soo....todoka ultipa was trying to 'fix' the microwave that has been on for 30 minutes.

That means is that the killer knew that Todaka would plan on fixing it. He was so 'fixated' (bad joke commits die) that he wouldn't care about what was going on around him. So the killer most likely smashed the plate on his head, knocking him out. Where he then burned do death from the microwave?

The only person i think who can be responsible for this is...........oltarry Megant. The Ultimate prankster.
