Hello once again.

I thought it had been a little too long since the last time I uploaded; so here we are. This time is another locking mechanism.

Despite lacking a key, this was initially intended to be a locking mechanism for a hatch. I have reason to believe that someone far better at fabricating these designs could implement or modify it to fit into a multitude of designs such as submarines, bank vaults, tank crew hatches, & safes.

I reckon with a little ingenuity this could be re-tooled as a rotating combination lock type of system or an 8 cylinder radial engine.

Yes, it is crude. However, my intent with my uploads are to present a concept & generate interest to allow for others (and myself) to learn about or understand the relevant idea more than we did prior.

Furthermore, if someone who knows how to make good machines were to come across my posts, then I could improve the quality of my uploads from the very beginning & worry less about whether or not people get upset with me for uploading low quality or essentially incomplete ideas to Algodoo.

The project I mentioned in the description of the lander leg scene is still under construction, as I am continually learning how to build a certain type of mechanism in Algodoo. It may take a little longer, but rest assured that you will see more from me in the future.

As usual I am fine with modification or reuploading, but I would appreciate credit for being a part in the inspiration for doing so, and for any parts taken directly from this scene. Up to you, though. Ideas can't be owned by one person after all.
