This detector uses a laser to see if any geometry (box, circle, polygon, etc.) is in front of it.
Can be easily customized by changing the laser's properties.
Does not reflect, however can be changed in Script Menu of the laser.

What exactly does this laser detector do? If all it does is detect an object that the beam hits, then that's nothing clever or unique. Any Algodoo laser can detect an object that it hits with just a line or two of script in the laser that determines what you want to do with it! Am I missing something? :s
yeah, that's kinda it
If interested, here is a scene that I posted back in 2019 that detects and names objects via two different methods.... Laser beam and collision.
