Great idea! The next step would be make it read another way than by layers, limiting it to a 7 height grid.

I think you could make the laser to set the collideset of the reading layer to B, and when finish reading that layer, set it all back to A, then set the next layer to B and so go on... The reading laser would collide with B but not A. I think another laser would be required to set from A to B... Anyway, I hope this can help you in any way, if you get what i'm talking about

bad printer it freaks out when making the stuff opacity 0 10/10 must be allot of variables or maybe not if you where smart
