This simulates a magnifying glass or a simple lens. DO NOT RUN ALGODOO! The scene works without Algodoo running because of the Thyme script. My description in the scene explains how this was done.

Nice scene. I gave it a 10 because, as far as I can tell, nobody has done a simple magnifying glass in Algodoo or Phun before (although your Movie Viewer scene uses a similar effect).

P.S. I can see, by using the magnifying glass, that this dog is a double pointer.

P.P.S. If you turn off collision layers on your magnifying glass, then it wont fly away if somebody hits the run button.

s_noonan -- Thanks! I have discovered a lot of fun things that can be done with the texture matrix. Just take a look at my most recent scenes, like "SELF HYPNOSIS" and "MIRROR SIMULATOR". A person can get rather creative! :*)
noob
BTW - you can get a much greater magnifying effect by changing the x-scale and y-scale values to "0.3". The x-scale is at (0), and the y-scale is at (4). The resulting Texture Matrix script will look like this: {[0.3, 0.0, pos(0), 0.0, 0.3, pos(1), 0.0, 0.0, 1.0]} TRY IT!

Interesting scene:tup:
10 for the uniqueness.
