This is a realistic looking Jacob's Ladder. It was very tricky to make the simulated electric arc climb the ladder while at the same time make its width progressively wider, and then snap back down to its starting point.

Anyone wanting to use this in their own scenes, please give me credit for it. Thanks!

Oh, by the way, the electric arc is a texture that has a black background. So, it will only look right in a scene with a black background. If your scene has some other color for the background, then you would need to edit the texture file with a program such as PaintShop Pro or PhotoShop.
