Here's a car with the clutch I made a while ago. Its been revised to be a clutch and brake combo.

Up arrow to accelerate
Down arrow for brakes.

Update:
Brakes no longer automatically lock up when the car is coasting or rolling backwards.

I gave this a 10 because it appears to be an original idea. In my opinion, only a small percentage of the scenes in algobox (mine included) contain original ideas.
